Services
Core Physicians is a community based, multi-specialty group practice affiliated with Exeter Hospital. Our fundamental mission is to improve the health of individuals and families in the communities served. As a major provider of primary care services in the region, Core Physicians continues to develop diagnostic and surgical services to meet the increasing healthcare needs of a rapidly expanding population.
Thank you for considering our organization as a place to apply your talent and skills in support of our patients. Core Physicians, LLC, along with Exeter Hospital and Rockingham Visiting Nurses Association, is one of three affiliates that are joined under Exeter Health Resources. Together, our mission is to improve the health of the community.
Core Physicians is committed to providing you accessible information to make informed decisions about your health care and about our doctors and services. As part of that commitment, we use a national, standardized survey to measure our patients' experiences. This survey is administered by the National Research Corporation (NRC) for outpatient services.
If your insurance plan is not listed above or does not include Core Physicians as a participating physician group, you will be expected to pay up front for services in full. Examples of insurance plans we do NOT participate in are: Mass Health, Health Sharing Plans and Limited Network Out of State Plans.
Core Physicians is proud of all its outstanding physicians, providers and staff who continuously put forth tremendous efforts to improve the health of the communities we serve. While these honors and awards recognize their commitment, they also challenge us toward continuous care improvement centered on you the patient.

Look at all these 1 star reviews. So sad. Every month, and I mean every single month the same problems trying to refill prescriptions. Either the doctor doesn’t receive the messages or she just doesn’t care to sign off on them. EVERY SINGLE TIME. It’s beyond frustrating. And the girls act as though it’s a personal attack on them when you have to call every day. Let’s not even get into the wait time on hold. And yes I’m aware their are employee shortages everywhere.

I cannot give a good rating for no follow-up after they knew that they screwed up.

I am frustrated with the system Core has developed for appointment scheduling. For instance I was tying to set up an appointment with my PCP for a Medicare check up. At the same time I needed to talk with my doctor about a prescription that I have. I was told that I couldn’t do that because Medicare would not pay for the second item & I would have to pay it. Therefor I have to set up 2 separate appointments. Are you kidding me? I had heard that was true for everything before but didn’t believe it. In this case, the RX discussion will be in the Medicare appointment any way because of what the

It is virtually impossible to call my doctor. They have centralized the switchboard, then send you to someones voice mail who never returns the call. I have a broken foot and can't get a followup appointment to tell me if it's healing or needs surgery. They used to be good ( I've been with them for 25 years). Now it's a bureaucratic morass. And they are wizards when you compare them to their billing department.

It is not my actual dr that I had an issue with. I asked for my annual appt online. Instead it was billed as a med. visit. My insurance company spoke with the billing dept and they refused to change the code for billing. I of course had to pay for the visit which was over $200 for a 15 min appt online. My ins co. covers a 1 yr annual physical but of course Core gets more $ if I pay out of pocket. I was later told that physicals cannot be online... hmmm interesting. Finally got a letter from the finance dept asking not to advocate for myself anymore. Classy group of people..let me tell you. If they

I’d leave zero stars if it were an option. Always get a run around from office and the call center ;where every single number listed calls to, by the way or so I was told today). I have to make, and pay for, appointment just to give a quick answer to my DR. Then, I’m assigned to new DR by Core (not my choice) and have to pay to see the new Dr. For same thing I paid for 6 weeks ago!! What? The notes the first Dr. tok are not good enough?! They are thieves pure and simple. Sadly only 2 options for medical care - both equally horrible staffing.

I love my PCP, but find Core to be a money grabber. I just resumed going to my PCP a couple of years ago after leaving the practice for a decade due to Core dropping our insurer, and then charging more than double for services with no out of pocket discount whatsoever--and no warning!
Now I have a plan they accept, but they are charging $25 for preventative care visits that are supposed to be 100% covered, by law. Their workaround? Call it an "extra care" fee and have you sign a waiver hidden in the stack of papers they give you upon arrival--with no explanation or detail of what 'services' "extra

I, along with other members of my family, have had horrible experiences at this office. The level of unprofessionalism is unspeakable. For one thing, it is impossible to get an appointment. I have turned to Urgent Care/Convenient MD numerous times because this office cannot see me for things that a Primary Care office should be able to. I recently called to try and get a prescription filled for something that was somewhat an emergency, they told me they would see if they could fill it without seeing me, and then never called me back. About two years ago, my younger brother had a series of consistent
