Excellent customer service. I recently purchased a new Seiko Limited Edition Dive watch from Thompson's Jewelry Store via eBay.
Seiko has been plagued with noticeable QC issues the last two of three years. When I received my watch, I noticed one of the link pins near the clasp sticking out. I was able to pull the pin out with my fingers. There was NO collar to secure the pin.
I contacted the store explaining the situation, requesting a collar. There were no spare collars available. I was advised they'd be contacting Seiko (Japan) & keeping me posted (which they did). I was advised a link with

I was interested in buying a Seiko special edition watch, and had run across Thompson's Jewelry when doing a google search. I contacted them and received a response back almost right away. Talked on the phone to one of the owners. How often does that happen? After a short discussion, I ended up buying the Seiko watch I wanted from them. After ordering online, I received an email from David Thompson saying the order has been shipped.
I could not be happier with this transaction and I highly recommend this store and it's people. As a Seiko fan, I hope to buy from Thompson's again.

This is great example of a family-owned business that has been around for almost a hundred years and the reason is because of their great customer service and great prices. I ordered stuff from them online and was surprised to see their package sitting at my door in record time. I appreciate that would look to buying from them again in the future.

Thompson's is THE hometown jewelry store in the Batesville area.
It is the oldest surviving business on Main Street, but it is by no means out-dated! Beautiful and delightful merchandise, exceptionally knowledgeable owners and employees, and a hometown atmosphere is what you will find when you walk in the front door - or the back door. Three generations of my family have had wedding rings from Thompson's. Quality and service you can trust!

I purchased a Harry Potter Village set. It came promptly, packaged nice, and the price was lower than other competitors out there..
What I Wasn't expecting was a note of a heart felt gratitude thanking me of the purchase.

I left a ring to be restored. The work looks to be good, but the service was poor. I dropped the ring off and after about a month of waiting, I asked why they didn't call to tell me and the person/owner told me that they don't call customers. Then, they gave me the ring in an envelope. I felt that after spending over $200 they would have returned the ring in a box; especially after knowing that the ring was going to be a graduation gift. I asked about having the ring appraised, and they said it would $75, which I felt was very high. I would not recommend this business.
