As a billboard painter in the 80's & 90's I helped promote business all over central Florida, but as the industry moved toward the digital age I had to adapt, so I opened a small sign business in Winter Garden doing different signs and custom decals, it went well and I eventually moved to Lake County where I reopened as Street Scapes Graphics where I first began doing wraps, the materials were different back then and you learned by trial and error.
In the recession of '08 business really took a hit financially, I struggled through a couple more years but I was forced to close the doors.I went to work for a wonderful company doing set design and fabrication where I ran the graphics department and the painting department, but in my heart I knew i wanted my shop again.

A: Yes, there is an advertising or commercial wrap, these usually have logos or text to advertise a product or business. Also there is a color change wrap, which is when we change the color of the car opposed to painting it.
A: Most car wraps are done in just a couple of days, however when we do a color change wrap there is considerably more labor involved because it needs to cover areas such as inside the fuel door and door jam areas whereas a commercial wrap does not.
