Dutch Maid Bakery

We have been going here for years but unfortunately the quality has gone way down hill. The last two times we’ve gone in the last few weeks the food tastes old. The donuts have tasted like they have been sitting there a few days. The cookies have always been dry but good, now they are just dry. It’s unfortunate because this places used to have the best treats but I don’t know if they switched owners or recipes but the quality has definitely fallen to the wayside. I’m hoping it’s just a rough patch and they can do better.

Their baked goods and cakes are wonderful. Good variety.. Had lunch too. Chicken and bacon on focaccia bread with tomato, lettuce, and mayo. Thick pieces of chicken. Could not even get my mouth around it. It was delicious.

The stars are for the chili that was good (way too small a portion for almost $6 for a “bowl” that was actually a normal sized mug). You can’t bring in drinks and they will tell you this after you purchase if you are dining in. But they will have unmasked staff taking sips of their drinks behind the counter, without washing theirs hands. Also ask about the specials because I had lunch at around 12:25 and as I’m staring at the counter the host says “oh it’s BOGO, I forgot!” And slaps a sticker on the display, without offering or saying anything to the customers who are still in the

I've never ordered anything else but the cupcakes and the pineapple Danishes which are complete fire the staff is nice and the place smells amazing !

On June 29th we bought a Apple fritter and a raspberry Bismarck , the Bismarck was ok, not as much filling as I like, but ok. The APPLE FRITTER DIDN'T HAVE 1 PIEVS OF APPLE, normally they products are good but DON'T BUY THE APPLE FRITTER.

Love this place. The brown sugar Danish is my absolute favorite. Picked up some other baked goods today. Everything I have had from here so far has been amazing!

I would like to say how much I miss this bakery, we moved to Surfside Beach South Carolina 10 years ago and I still can't fine a bakery like Dutch Maid !! No one makes cakes and cookies like Dutch Maid just wanted to let y'all know how I miss this bakery your the best !!

I have ordered so many cakes from you over the years and they are consistently perfect every single time! Flavor/decoration beyond expectations! Will always recommend Dutch Maid!

Great visit as always, everything I've had from here or heard about from here has been amazing. Very nice location, clean and well kept. Employees are always friendly. Food is amazing, the peanut butter pie is my favorite. I'd definitely recommend them!

My husband was hungry for a good long john ( they aren't the same everywhere , he says ) and he was very pleased. I got an apricot Danish which was amazing. The coffee was really good. Of course I got a few extra items and will have some treats the next few days!!
We moved to Goshen last fall and this was our first visit but we will be back.

My daughter and I went there for lunch today. It had been a while for both of us, as my daughter lives in Indy now! We both had the Field Greens Salad with grilled chicken, strawberries, and walnuts. It was fantastic! We even picked up some fresh Donuts for breakfast tomorrow and some adorable summer sugar cookies that looked like fish and dogs!

Intimate and cozy, albeit small interior and wow are these baked goods amazing! Our new Saturday morning tradition is to stop in here and get a doughnut or danish before heading over to the Farmer's Market. There is something for everyone and it's all good. Come hungry and leave happy.

Had the biscuits and gravy - nothing to rave about. And had a turtle muffin - topping was decadent and muffin part wasn't too sweet, really good balance.

Secret gem for dinner, sometimes a sandwich and soup are a perfect way to end the day.

Lots and lots and lots of cookies, muffins, cupcakes, creamhorns and cheesecake to mention a few items. Tis the season for all things pumpkin and no disappointments here with pumpkin spice coffee and a huge slice of pumpkin roll encased in pecan pieces to make you happy about the "ber" months.

Soup was a creamy basil tomato and was delicious. Got 1/2 chicken salad sandwich on sour dough that hit the spot.

I ordered cookies for my daughters bridal shower just two days ahead of time (my bad) and their team was quick to say they could help. I expected the cookies to be plainly decorated because of the short time frame that I gave them but still hoped for the best as I shared ideas and colors. They exceeded my expectations!! The cookies were beautiful and absolutely delicious!

Outstanding baked goods - donuts, muffins, cupcakes, cakes, etc. You will not be disappointed. Also a wonderful place for a sandwich and some homemade soup. They use local coffee roaster The Refinery for their coffee.
I highly recommend them.

I love this little bakery! I always forget to order in advance...their cannoli are never available when I need them. most likely because they are so good they're in constant high demand. I am only in town around the holidays and I always wish I could bring the cannoli as a dessert to my gatherings but forget until the last minute.

Luckily they have all sorts of delicious treats and a nice variety of coffee drinks too. I like the kona blend latte.

I will keep coming back when I am in town!

This is a CUTE CUTE bakery. Had I known they served lunch we would have enjoyed the atmosphere. It was my birthday so I tried the pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. My sister had the turtle brownie. Both were worth the calories. So indulge. The donuts with peanut butter frosting were out to sample and they were to die for so walk for a couple extra minutes and enjoy.

They make a very good wedding cake, and for a reasonable fee they delivered it to the venue! Definitely recommend anyone that needs a sheet cake. "Dutch Maid our day even better!"(please send free food or a modest amount of money for that amazing tag line)

I live for the donuts. That Bavarian cream tho. Lit. I did have a brownie here once that was bone dry and too dense. But the donuts made up for it. Plus the ladies at the counter are always lovely. They should team up with the chief and do ice cream and cookie sandwiches.

The only reason I don't come here more often is the fact I would be too tempted by all the goodies and my waistline would expand too much.
The bakery items are very good. The BLT I had today was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. Finally, the atmosphere is relaxing.
This is a very special place.

This place was the perfect solution to my mother and I's desire for a cozy lunch spot in Goshen. While there is a huge display case with a plethora of baked goods, they also pull off the ambiance of a cafe/coffee shop with grace and charm. The furniture was lodge style and there was a fire burning in the hearth, which was just the type of place I was hoping to find as my mum places the decor and feel of a restaurant on par with the food.

The menu features soups, salads, and sandwiches, and we both ordered the soup and half sandwich combo. Though it wasn't on the menu, the chef grilled

So many awesome options. My recommendation is the massive donut. Also, great prices for such quality and carefully made items.

Your sweet tooth will thank you for coming here. I was lured in by the promise of a caramel bacon doughnuts and left with cookies and a red velvet whoopie pie. Then I came back the next day and got a pecan sticky bun and coffee. Very pleased with my selections! The lo-down:

Caramel bacon doughnut - this was a great doughnut! The caramel frosting was divine and the bacon was just salty enough to give this doughnut an awesome flavor profile. Highly recommend!

Cookies - I got the standard butter cookie with icing. Perfect texture and not too sweet. Also a fan of these.

Red velvet whoopie pie -

Funny, my grandparents have lived in Goshen since the 90s, my parents have lived here since the early 2000s, I've been to Linway Plaza many times and yet... I had never before been inside Dutch Maid.

The second we opened the door, whoosh, that wonderful yeasty smell of donuts.

It's cozy, there's plenty of seating (for the smallish space), and the woman behind the counter was very friendly. We ended up with six donuts (took them back to mom's, they were delicious) but I have to say the cakes, cookies and other pastries looked quite delightful too.

Childhood memories. This bakery has lived many places before resting here. So glad it's there to stay, my sisters and I chased there cookies all around the Goshen area for a while.

There tea cookies, Sesamee Street face cookies, and whoopie pies are awesome! Everything is realitively cheap for a small bakery in Indiana.

Staff are friendly and quick. The place is small and cozy, with a a couple tables inside. I'd say a good place to meet friends (realitively quiet) or work on things (free wifi with purchase).
