The mission of Worcester Technical High School, a progressive public secondary school which offers students in grades 9 through 12 the opportunity to prepare for both the world of work and post-secondary education, is to provide high-quality career education and training programs through holistic teaching and learning.

Services
At Worcester Technical High School (WTHS), all students are challenged to prepare today for tomorrow. The school is centrally located in Newark, Maryland and serves students in grades 9 through 12 enrolled in the three area high schools who elect to pursue a certificate in a career field as well as academic preparation for college.

At the conclusion of Mr. Zimmer's welcome, he is followed by our school counselor, Mrs. Howard to explain how WTHS integrates with the students daily academic life.
If after completing the career counseling activities on our website, you have decided that you would like to participate in a program at Worcester Tech, then WELCOME TO THE WT FAMILY! Students may request a program at Worcester Technical High School by selecting the appropriate courses during the course request process at their comprehensive high school.
This program of study provides students a strong foundation in arts and communication with particular emphasis on design, graphic and media communication, interactive technologies, and project development. Students complete two (2) foundation courses before selecting one of two options for advanced study - Interactive Media Production OR Simulation and Gaming.
