I had a wonderful experience working with Kirsten! She did my hair and makeup + makeup for my bridesmaids and mom. We all loved our looks - very natural and she was great about making sure we felt comfortable with the products she was using.

Kirsten and her team were amazing. They were very professional and punctual. Although I opted out of the hair and make up trial, I was still able to share photos via email and got her feedback. Kirsten is super responsive over email and texts before the big day. They showed up the morning of the wedding and were willing to help us move a heavy table into the bedroom where we were all getting ready. Her team consisted of three people; they did hair and make up for 8 people and got us all ready by the designated time. They made me and my bridesmaids feel very at ease and were very accommodating.

Kirsten and her team were awesome. As a bride, the last thing you want to worry about it everyones hair and makeup, and the Devotion Studio doesn't let you worry one bit. My venue was close to the studio so they offered to travel to my guest house day of for getting ready free of charge. I had them handle 4 bridesmaids, myself, and both the groom's mother and my own. They showed up precisely at 9:00 am and were done with enough time to spare to help me put my flowers in my hair! Both ladies are great to talk to while getting your hair and makeup done. They were so sweet and personable

Kirsten is ridiculously amazing!! My daughter and I were stuck last minute ahead of our bat mitzvah party. So glad she was able to take us in. She gave us some awesome ideas and told my daughter to choose anything at all online. She delivered perfectly!

Love that she uses high end products (pureology) and that she could accommodate us at her studio (I think she also does on site visits) in such a soothing and relaxed environment.

For the person that reviewed and claimed that her studio was not on par with your expectations - not sure what you were expecting. So glad I didn't listen to

I booked Devotion Studio to do hair and make-up for my Mom, three bridesmaids, and myself the morning of my wedding. I had looked at several other options in the Mendocino area and was impressed by their online photos and reasonable prices. Kirsten was incredibly quick, professional, and kind in her communication and it sold me. I was especially nervous because I live in Denver, CO and knew I wouldn’t be able to travel out ahead of time for any kind of trial run. I sent her multiple, conflicting photos and ideas from Pinterest (probably a stylist’s nightmare haha) and she sent me matching photos

If I could give Kirsten like 20 stars I would! She did not only an amazing job on my hair and make-up for my wedding but her team killed it on my bridal party and family. Seriously everyone looked exactly how they wanted to and straight out of a magazine! Not only that but she was super great about communicating with me along the way and made the whole process effortless and easy on what would normally be a stressful day. I felt like a princess! I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I hired Kirsten to do mine & my bridesmaids hair for my wedding and I am so happy I did! She was responsive, talented, and overall wonderful to work with. After my trial, I wasn't so sure that the style I chose was best for me, so I sent Kirsten some images of what I wanted instead, and she executed it perfectly on my wedding day. On top of that, it was rainy and misty, and she managed to make my hair hold all day long. I loved working with Kirsten, chatting with her, and getting to know her. She is reasonably priced too and was SO incredibly easy to work with! Couldn't be happier

11/5/2018 Edited to add: I hired Kirsten at Devotion studio for hair and makeup for a Hollywood themed birthday party I was throwing and I was beyond impressed again. She worked magic with my hair like I have never seen. Its obvious she is on top of her game and keeps up with current trends. She was polite and professional while offering advice on my requests. I will definitely be recommending Devotion Studio to all my friends and family.

Kirsten was great at responding to all of my annoying emails and questions and laying everything out for me clearly. When I did my first trial they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I used that trial for my engagement shoot day and my hair stayed all day (a miracle)!!! In the end I decided I wanted to do an up-do for my wedding so Kirsten squeezed me in with both of our busy schedules and came in early

Tamra and Nicole came out to my house to do hair and makeup for both me, my wife, and our moms and sisters. They did an excellent job. I used Xoie for our wedding day and she did a great job. We had about 6 women who had makeup services and we didn't want anything extravagant but were looking for a more natural authentic look. Xoie took care of us and everyone looked beautiful. We were finished ahead of schedule with time to spare and no one felt rushed. I found Devotion Studio via recommendation from our wedding venue, Vine Hill House, and I could not be more pleased with how my hair + make-up turned out on the big day! All of us were really happy and felt beautiful. Kirsten was super easy to work with and quick to respond to emails. When I was accidentally overcharged for the remaining balance (we both forgot to deduct the $100 deposit from the outstanding balance), I let her know and she quickly refunded me the money via venmo and made it right. I found these ladies for our wedding in Guerneville earlier this year, and was super happy! I drove up to Santa Rosa to meet Tamra for a trial. She was able to use a room at her dad's studio, which was good but the lighting could have been better. She also had to rush home to her baby (totally understandable!) but I was bummed that it felt a little rushed.

She is very detail oriented, patient, takes a personalized approach to each person's hair and look, and wants to make sure everyone loves their hair and it's just perfect - which it was, and we did! :) She also has a fantastic personality and was great to have her hanging out with us girls as we were getting ready!

My wedding was November 11th, 2015. Devotion Studios did both my hair and makeup. Kirsten did hair and Chyrel did my makeup. When I got my trial done, I liked it but wanted just a few things changed...makeup a little darker, hair with a little more body. When it came to my wedding day, I could not have been more pleased!! They both made me feel so at ease. I absolutely LOVED my makeup, it popped in photos but didn't make me look "too much"..
