Huge auction, I bought 2 calves and one died within a couple of weeks. I asked for them to be wormed and vaccinated. They didn’t charge for the vaccine on my bill but called me and requested I approve them to charge my CC for the extra’s. I told the lady one of them had died and she said she was sorry. That didn’t help with my two hundred and fifty dollars. They are busy and everyone has to figure out how to find their animals at very busy pick locations.
I did not enjoy this sale. May go again and try to get used to it but I am not satisfied with live stock sales. The animals are so unhealthy

Went with the intention of getting some peafowl. The selection was amazing and there was a lot to choose from. My first choice was first to be auctioned. I got them below what I was willing to pay. Wonderful time.

Attended the spring Mid Ohio Alternative Animal and Bird sale here. Definitely plan to come back, they sell pretty much anything at this sale. The only downside is with 3+ auctioneers going for three days straight selling thousands of items its too much to keep straight, but had an awesome time!

Often schedule our time to attend auctions throughout the year. Enjoy seeing people who have also attended the auction events trough the years. Enjoy the community and beauty of the area and the people who live there.

It's wonderful to see the Amish gather with so many amazing animals, their families, wagons and other examples of their horse and buggy related handiwork! Mrs. Yoders Kitchen is located just across the street making a for a great destination altogether!

I have always enjoyed their auctions and the fact that they seem to care for animals comfort. The exotic sale has often kept me in the barns with the camel's, zebras to pet and enjoy. Pushed a little too much going on at the same time. Three auctions and wanting to be at each one left me a little disappointed. The exotic birds and people of knowledge of the best care is a treasure to any animal lovers.

I almost hesitate to write this review for fear I will spoil this special place . If you drive 2 hours north to Amish Country where Mt. Hope Auction is located, you will have seemingly arrived on another planet, in another time. If you want to avoid the typical tourist traps and experience something like from the movie "Witness", this is a trip you must make.

The auction is HELD ONLY ON WEDNESDAY. That probably is a good thing, to avoid being overrun by, what is known to the Amish, as the English (that would be me). This is the place where Amish families come to buy, sell and trade
