Nurse practitioners focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and believe in treating the person as a whole. Their education includes four years of undergraduate degree in nursing and two years of master's level degree with a certification of Nurse Practitioner. The profession has now expanded the education level to include an additional two years to obtain a doctorate degree of Nursing Practice concentrating on evidence based practice.

If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a $25 (twenty-five dollars) fee that will not be covered by your insurance company.
