The mission of SUCCESS Academy, an Early College High School, is to empower, encourage, and engage ALL students in the pursuit of Academic Excellence and Citizenship. At SUCCESS Academy we provide motivated, focused, and diligent students the opportunity to engage in Early College experiences.
Upon successful completion of our course sequence students have the opportunity to earn credit toward an Associates degree with an emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and their high school diploma.We have many students who complete both their Associate degree and high school diploma!

Services
Early college high schools are designed to provide a rigorous academic setting that allows students to earn their Associates degrees at the same time they earn their high school diplomas. SUCCESS Academy has two campuses: one at Southern Utah University and one at Dixie State University.
SUCCESS Academy has a unique partnership with the Iron and Washington County School Districts which provides an early college experience without robbing students of a "normal" high school experience.Our partnerships allow students to attend SUCCESS Academy for half of their school day, where they enroll in both college prep and actual college courses.

We know you value education. In this day and age it is even more important for our students to have the very best opportunities possible. SUCCESS Academy is associated with the Utah ECA (Early College Alliance). The mission of ECA is to support Utah's Early College High Schools and the unique characteristics of each high school by cultivating conditions and advocating for sportive policies that advance the Early College High School goals.
SUCCESS Academy was chartered in 2005 as a cooperative partnership between the Iron and Washington County School Districts, Southern Utah University, Dixie State University, and the generous support of the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.
In cooperation with the School Land Trust committee, Board of Trustees, students, teachers, parents, and our chartering organizations, the following data was reviewed to identify and focus upon the school's performance over the years.This chart shows the percentage, by subject, for a student's college readiness according to ACT benchmarks testing.

Newsweek recently released their list of the top 5000 STEM schools in the United States and SUU SUCCESS Academy made the list! Newsweek partnered with STEM.org to rank the top STEM High Schools. We ranked at 3976! Only 24 Utah Schools made the list. We're proud to be on it! SUCCESS Academy was ranked SECOND!
Applications received on time will be entered into the SUU or DSU lottery for SUCCESS Academy. You will receive a letter in the mail notifying you and your student of the results of the lottery. SUCCESS Academy will contact all new students. There is a parent meeting for scheduling the student's classes at SUCCESS and their high school.

It is the worst school I've ever seen the teachers are insanely rude and. Not professional and they talk down to people of color I had a interaction where I was walking into the building and they had this nasty tone asking me questions and they belittle other students that aren't even in their school. I've seen a teach straight up talk down to a 3rd grader!!! Worst school talk to your staff
