Dr. Lent is Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY. A leader in robotic joint replacement surgery, he is an instructor for Stryker's Mako technology, traveling across the world to teach surgeons about robotic-assisted joint replacement. He is also a leader in minimally invasive surgery and advanced arthroscopic techniques, including ACL reconstruction and shoulder labral (SLAP) repair.
Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, 2007. Dr. Spencer specializes in general orthopedics, including joint replacement, advanced sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and hand, wrist, and elbow surgery.
He has extensive experience in the latest advanced arthroscopic surgery techniques and more complex procedures of the upper extremities, including arthroscopic labral repairs, total shoulder replacements and wrist fractures.He treats orthopedic injuries for many local athletes on the high school and college level, including sports-related tendinitis.
