Since 2004, Back Mountain Day Care has offered a professional, affordable early childhood curriculum to children in the Shavertown, PA area. Your son or daughter will feel safe and experience a positive learning environment. We are a member of the ELRC (Early Learning Resource Center) Program as well as fully licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.

Since 2004, we have provided full-service day care from our DHS-certified teachers and staff, who you can trust to take great care of your child.
As your child grows into a toddler, it is important that they're challenged both academically and socially. At Back Mountain Day Care, we stick to a structured schedule of learning and playing, with the goal of your child growing in a positive direction each and every day! During your toddler's day at Back Mountain Day Care, we'll incorporate activities that develop their hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, and motor skills.
Beginning your child's education in a preschool program is a great way to ensure that they are ready for regular school down the road. At Back Mountain Day Care, our engaging preschool program is offered for children from 3 to 4 years old. Most of our teachers have degrees in early childhood education and are highly experienced when it comes to teaching preschoolers.
If your child is moving on to kindergarten next year, then it is time to enroll them in our pre-K program at Back Mountain Day Care. Our advanced pre-K program is specially created for children from 4 to 5 years old. At Back Mountain Day Care, we bring over 20 years of experience in early childhood education to our curriculum.
