We started this LGBTQA+ Boutique and Gift Shop on a mission and a whim and like you, I have no clue what the future holds, but, I will do my best to make it better for those whom I can, and I will always fight for my personal mantra. Fed up with police violence and incessant persecution, people inside the illegal gay bar refused to show their IDs or identify their gender.

Those who evaded arrest began gathering outside the bar. Soon a crowd had formed, people threw pennies and shouted "gay power!" and sang "We Shall Overcome.". Storm DeLarverie spoke up and fought back, "These handcuffs are too tight" and she was beaten in the head with a billy club. The movement was born.

We have been depressed lately over a death in the family so we decided to make a short weekend visit to Louisville. We stopped in this unique little shop and the guy behind the counter was so kind that it really cheered me up. I didn’t get his name but he had long dark blonde hair. I hope he sees this post and knows his kindness made a difference for someone.
Also need to mention that this shop had a lot of fun and distinctive items and gifts.

I absolutely love this shop so much! They have so many awesome products and so much love and support for our community. If you need a gift to bring a smile to someones face, this is the place to go! Not only are the products great, but the staff is so welcoming. My last visit, Mallory was working and radiated such happy energy, it was just a joy to be there and have an awesome employee behind the counter to interact with. If you haven't been here yet, you need to stop by and support your local small businesses!

Really nice LGBT spot in Louisville! Lots of pride gear, flags, tshirts, jewelry, gag gifts, and more. The shop is small but packed with things to buy. You'll want to spend a while looking at everything.

Neat little store in nu lou that my buddy Joseph G from yelp fame visited last weekend . We hit up a lot of stores in the area and I saw a funny Louisville sign and we decided to stop in here to check it out. It had many different Louisville shirts and funny trinkets and things. We really enjoyed the store and it seemed like others did too because it was crowded . Check them out and support them

What a fun shop! My daughter and I stopped in while checking out the street art along E. Market St. This was the only shop that we visited that day and we're glad we did!
If you're looking for a cute or whimsical gift this shop has it. If you're looking to add some wittiness to your decor this is the store. If you're looking for all things lgbtq+, PRIDE, Anti-Racist, Feminist, progressive, and human rights related this is THE place! Lots of Tshirts too (one suggestion; need sizes above 2x)
We will definitely return to this brick and mortar shop but also look forward to seeing

If you're a visitor to Louisville, this shop is a must stop. Massive T-shirt collection and a diverse assortment of other useful and not-so-useful but totally glam or kitschy or outrageous items.

Thanks to Collins (the manager?) for taking the time to talk about both the shop as well as where to get great grub around town.

Support local artists and support local businesses and buy some stuff here!

On my way to toast and market, this was a great pit stop beforehand. Along with the other handful of cute shops in Nulu LouABull is just as special. Loaded with tons of cool Knick knacks and gadgets I wanted one of everything. The store gives boutique vibes with all the unique items up for grabs. Employees are very sweet and friendly. COVID precautions are in effect. From unique mugs to candles to jewelry this store truly had it all. I walked out with a cute necklace and mug to take home. Support your small businesses and check this place out!

This cute shop sells Louisville stuff and all sorts of other memorabilia and interesting bits. If you're looking for unique gifts, you'll find them here.

Too many weird things to list. Lunch boxes, tshirts, postcards, candles, dish towels, soaps, you name it.

I love Louabull, they have the best clever gifts and cards and awesome treat-yo-self stuff. They also have the best tshirts in town with custom art in super clever but classy designs. They are also doggo and kiddo friendly which I really love.

This is a fun shop that packs a ton of items into a small place. LouABull is a spot to visit for gift exchanges with friends that have everything (and have a sense of humor), or when you're planning a party and want 1-2 items that stand out, or you simply want to treat yourself. My favorite items, and the reason I'll be back, are the local flavored t-shirts.

The gentlemen running the shop were great - quick to greet us, and check in on us while also letting us browse. I've had the same experience when visiting their booth at a NULU event, which is how I originally learned about

Looking for wacky, interesting or just plain cool Louisville-themed gifts? That is exactly what LouABull is all about!!

I have had this place on my list for a while, and with us already taking a walk to the Butchertown Market, I figured it was finally time to make a visit.

It's an awesome store. It's very tiny, in a small little house, but makes for a great stop if you're going to Hi Five or Red Hot Roasters.

Inside you'll find gifts of all kinds. I think they're selection of Louisville T-shirts is what stood out most for me, and they have so many hilarious

I came in here when they very first opened. Wow! How much they've grown their inventory. You could spend an hour in here looking at all the unique gifts they have! Many Louisville proud items which I love! You can find one of a kind gifts here! Service is super friendly! Love having a local place so close to my sons school. Last visit, I shopped for my moms Mother's Day gift. She's very unique and one of a kind so this is the perfect shop for her! They have cards, bow ties, soaps, novelty gifts, T-shirt's and so much more! Even a kids section!

Drove into town from Ohio.

It is a cute novelty store, a lot of Louisville/Kentucky merchandise. I found a Louisville Star Wars shirt for my nephew.

The store is well kept and organized. I like that they have a LBGTQ section. They sell bath bombs and it makes the store smell good. Parking was easy. There were plenty of spots right up front. I recall it being free for 1 or 2 hours.

Pros:
- Sells great Louisville/Kentucky souvenirs.

- Free parking.
- Pho place next door.

Cons:
- Pricey
- Very small postcard selection.

Unfortunately, I didn't find something for me but my

Newer shop in my neighborhood. They offer a wide range of gifts for kids to older kids like me! If you are looking for specific louisville items-they have it. Looking for adult themed gags, they have it.

If you need a Kentucky themed/Ville themed shirt, they have it here. I like the different neighborhood shirts. Being from NULU I will represent. But those from the Highlands or other areas can find their shirts here.

Cool little store packed with a bunch of neat ideas!

LouABull is a neat store in my NuLu neighborhood that has recently opened in a group of shops and restaurants called the Butcher Block development. The store is a one-stop for any and all of your themed and kitschy souvenirs. There are lots of items geared toward Louisville. They have selections to please both adults and children. There are gag gifts and food items. LouABull stocks a very wide range of merchandise for your gift giving pleasure or for yourself. The store is nestled among several other newly opened shops which makes it all the more fun to plan a visit. Stop by and you will

LouABull is a wonderful addition to Butchertown!

I love the selection here. I'll try to list some things I've seen (but will inevitably not do their selection justice): Louisville and Kentucky-themed t-shirts, tank tops, Pride gear, books, barware, children's clothing and toys, fidget spinners, gift items, gag gifts, ice cub molds, pet items, music, hats, and much more!

The t-shirt selection is especially great. Awesome shirts that highlight different Louisville neighborhoods and silly Kentucky-themed prints. I haven't seen many of these anywhere else. I assume many are exclusive

Fun, local shop for quirky gifts!

I happened to stop by here recently when I was in the area with a friend. We had some time to pass before grabbing a bite, and wandered into the store. It is full of funny novelty items, and great gift ideas. I particularly loved the baby onesies that said, "Louisville Snuggler" on them, although they were too small for any of my friends' kids that I would have bought them for.

I ended up getting a little something as a gift, and a little something for myself, namely a mermaid outfit and some Cellar Door bourbon balls. Too bad the mermaid outfit

This store has potential. I'm not sure if I'd plan a trip there, but if/when I'm in the Nulu/Butchertown area... I'll totally check it out every time. That small strip of Hi-Five, Stag + Doe, Pho Ba Luu, and LouABull is a busy spot. With it being so close to Nulu too... it's just a short walk over to East Main to check out all of those businesses.

LouABull. Interesting concept that resembles Why Louisville (without all the owner controversy). The staff seemed friendly on the day we went in. It was also busier than I expected it to be.

The main draw to this store? The

Can there be enough Louisville-themed shops? I think not!

And I can't wait to see LouABull as it develops, gets more stock and continues making a name for itself, especially in the retail void left behind by WHY Louisville's closing.

I ventured to LouABull just before Christmas, hoping to find some fun socks. (Some people ask for socks as a for-real Christmas present, OK?)

They didn't have any socks, though the clerk told me they should have some soon.

But what I did find is a great selection of Louisville- and Kentucky-themed T-shirts that I hadn't seen elsewhere. So

I stopped in on a whim shortly before Christmas, on a day that happened to be their "Sip & Shop" event. They offered tasty champagne drinks and cookies while you walked around the store and, ideally I'm sure, bought something.

While I did leave empty-handed, it was not because there weren't cute things there! There was a lot that I liked and that charmed me. But things felt a little high to me, price-wise.
The t-shirts are my favorite! There are some weird smelling candles, locally made jewelry, children's toys, cute accessories, and other cool gift things. The staff
