My stylist was Sachiko. Not only did she actually listen to what I had to say about what my hair needs (some stylists think they know best when, of course, they don't), but she checked in with me along the way to make sure the cut was what I wanted. In addition to her ability to hear me about cut, she also coloured my hair. I am the type to go in with photos of what I want and do not want so that it is 100% clear. Sachiko was amazing. There were some (small, minor, tiny) issues with the colour once I got home so I contacted the salon to get them to fix it and everyone was courteous and professional

I have very damaged blonde fine thinning hair. I have been looking for a stylist for awhile but I am also very scared to try someone new when so many places tell you that their stylists are "masters" when they are like 20 years old. I needed someone with skill and knowledge. I got it finally at luxe. Aubrey was my stylist and I loved all her recommendations on how to make my hair look and feel better and healthier. I got some foils for highlights, deep condition, cut, and style. She took her time, explained everything and my hair looks fantastic! I absolutely recommend her to anyone needing

First of all, if you look carefully at many of this salon's 5 star reviewer's profiles, they are from people who live all over the United States and are, strangely, travelling to Port Moody to get a haircut. Ya, right - full of obviously fake reviews! I can not recommend this salon. The stylists are pleasant, but the owner is completely unprofessional and does not understand what a bad experience can do to a client. I had the most enjoyable appointment with Luxe Salon this week. The support staff are very friendly and and attentive. My stylist was the very best I have ever had. She talked to me about what I required, and added her most helpful and useful recommendations, which I gratefully accepted. I was about 150 years older than my stylist but she gave me close attention, listened to my wants, added her recommendations and : Viola !! Upon arrival, we were greeted quite nicely and immediately offered complimentary beverages which includes a variety of teas and coffees. My friend and I both got the latte and although it didn't taste good, it's the thought that counts especially for a hair salon. I had Jessica and I enjoyed how much attention she put into cutting my hair and she gave some recommendations for things I might want to do to my hair. She was quite easy to talk to despite me not being the most outgoing person. I am very pleased with my haircut and how it turned out!! The only downfalls were the subpar lattes

I had posted a negative review a few days ago and now it has been removed. I stand by what I wrote when I said Frank or Franco as he is called gave me a horrible haircut. It was expensive and awful. I went to another stylist from another salon that someone recommended , the stylist from the other salon pointed out all the flaws of my cut and told me to come back in 3wks to let it grow out some and that she will start to reshape it. It will take 3 more visits and 3 more months to fix his mess. Are the negative reviews all being removed for some reason? I only noticed the good reviews about

I decided that I wanted to cut off my almost waist-length hair into a long bob, but was worried from my past experiences at poor hair salons giving me choppy haircuts. I had a quick chat with Aubrey about what length I wanted to go to, and she gave me some very helpful advice and insight on what I was asking and the look I wanted to achieve. I'm incredibly happy with my haircut and have been loving it more and more everyday!

Finding a good hair stylist and a good salon is hard. I work in Coquitlam and needed a place that was convenient. I've been seeing a hair stylist from Yaletown for years, but she's hard to book appointments with and out of my way. So after reading reviews and checking out their website, I thought why not lets give it a try. I called and with short notice they got me in with Jessica the next day.

I've been coming to Luxe since the beginning of this year and I've been loving the experience. Aubrey (and once, Jenny) who cut, colour, foil and style my hair are up to par with some of the high end stylists I've visited in Toronto and NYC. Aubrey and the staff are very attentive and friendly - - they always offer a beverage as soon as I arrive. I'm so glad I tried this salon.

When I first went to Luxe I found the hairdresser of my dreams!!! I saw her twice, then she decided to change careers & went back to school :( Oh no!
I have naturally curly to wavy hair and tons of it, and can never find someone who can do a decent cut.
My third time I saw Julie S who, although very friendly, paid more attention to another client in the salon than on me (who wasn't a client of hers) and it showed in my cut & colour. However, when I gave it a day or so & contacted the owner, I can't say enough about what they did to make it right!
I now see Baiba; she

I've been here half a dozen times and will keep coming back! Service is excellent across the board and all stylists are wonderful. Environmentally friendly products and a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend Victoria the owner or Baiba as your stylist. But any of the ladies will do as they are all fabulous! If you are looking for a classy place to get your hair done and be treated super well in the Tri-Cities....This is the place!

I've been to LUXE two times now, and I returned because I got an awesome hair cut by Lily, who listened to me that my hair was wavy.
I came back but Lily was booked every time I tried, someone else, who also gave me an amazing cut.
My only hesitation is the price. I'm a student, and because I only get my hair cut twice a year I'm willing to pay for a great cut, but the price is steep, which would stop me from going more frequently.
They also offer different hair dyes which I'm tempted to try. No ammonia, but If their cuts are pricey, I'm sure colouring is too.

I was a walk in. The receptionist gave me a price list which listed higher end haircuts and services. She also gave me a cappucino. I got my hair coloured (price was known before the service), but they also said I needed colour neutralizing. I should have asked for the price of this service, so it was my fault I suppose as they didn't tell me there was a cost. Anyways, the "cut" was overpriced and didn't last more than two weeks.
