I was traveling threw the area on a small vacation and determined I needed some new grips for my new to me used cannondale lefty.. I called ahead and sure enough they informed me that had a “whole board” of grips to select from… sure enough they did..!!! After picking out the new grips I asked if they could air up my tires as they had some valve I had never seen before. (Presta I think as I am new to biking) The tech was more than willing to explain the difference and to give me a free air check on both my bikes .. they have earned a customer for life in me..

There are a ton of bike rental places in Seaside, but this one is a little off the beaten path. It's run by a super friendly gentleman who explained everything we needed to know and sent us on our way. Our four-person surrey was super cute and in perfect condition! The location lets you get a little practice in a neighborhood before you hit the main drag. Check them out!

I’ve gone to this bike shop a few times over the years and always have a great experience. Ever since i had to remove all the sun damaged Elsa decorations from my daughters bike she has lost interest in riding it and I don’t think she was gonna give me any father of the year awards! Luckily this shop had all the good stuff in stock. They even swapped the seat, tightened the crank, loosened the chain and installed all the goodies for free. I don’t write reviews but these are good people and they deserve it!
It might not be Elsa anymore but it sure is purple!

Our group of 6 had a great time on the beach with the bikes. Loved the recumbent beach bikes and the owner did a nice job with our kids on explaining how to ride.

Brought my bike in for my one month adjustment, people were super friendly, and adjusted my bike pretty dang quickly (shifts perfect now). A lot of the accessories also seems very well priced, and they seemed to have a good inventory. The store was also very clean.

I needed my bike fixed but no parts were needed and they did it for free. The owners are wonderful people and very nice. They tightend my brakes and cranks, and fixed my chain guide for free. They are just a small shop but wonderful attitude towards their customers. This bike shop in my eyes is the best one I have ever been to

What a nice family business to patronize!
The choices in bikes is amazing with a broad range in prices, features and brands.
I am a short man that had not ridden a bike in 50 years. Being difficult to find the right fit, Debbie showed me all her options and offered test rides. This service was most helpful and I purchased a great bike with a unique design that will allow me to be able to plant my feet while seated. Something I never ever could do as a youngster.
Having a friendly local shop is superior to any internet shopping experience as the bike was set up properly before I took delivery

Always there when you need them and better prices than the place downtown. They have a great selection and without all the downtown crowds it is easier to get one on one assistance.

Wow! Maybe he just forgot to take his pills. First he said he would not work on ebikes. I told him it was just the front wheel that was wobbly. He told me it was the tire. As I started to tell him that the tire had recently been replaced he walked away and said "I won't work with someone who doesn't believe me." I just wanted the tire fixed. He was suppose to be the expert but I really think he just didn't know what to do. I have biked all over and regularly commute to and from work via bike. I have been in dozens of bike shops and almost always come away with a good

I have only been here once. I was on a bike tour of the Oregon coast. I was having derailleur problems so I stopped in here.

The owner gave me a locked, secure place to stow my bike trailer and belongings, bumped me to second on the repair docket since they knew I was trying to get to Nehalem Bay that day, and adjusted the derailleur as best as it could go, telling me the parts were fundamentally incompatible, which I later had corroborated by two other shops in the following week when the problem came up again.

If I had had the funds right there I would have had them fix it properly, but I

Andy Thornton and the Prom Bike & Hobby Shop get a big "thumbs up" from Conscious Commuter Corporation! We're developing electric bikes, and I live in Cannon Beach, OR, and have found that driving the 7 plus miles to get excellent service is worth it!

Just yesterday I had a flat on one of our test e-bikes and had no spare tubes on me, and as we were doing some testing over the weekend timeliness was of essence, I drove over to Seaside before they were open and saw Andy in the parking lot, putting out their fleet of rental bikes.

As soon as he opened the doors for business

BEWARE! When your bike breaks down they won't come help you no matter how far away you are!!

I rented 7 fun cycles from this shop. 10 mins into our rental the first bike broke down, about 3/4 of a mile from the shop. I called and asked if I could get a pick up so I didn't have to drag my fun cycle back. The owner told me sorry but I'm helping a customer and the other guy is busy.

So my family goes on with their ride and I spend the next 30 mins dragging this broken bike back. I get back and ask to use the restroom to clean the grease from my hands. The owner said the bathroom

Stopped in for a gear/cable/shifting adjustment. Kindest guy showed me how to tweek the knobby nut. No charge, great chat.
I watched him help a family test drive a bike for their daughter, and he was equally kind and helpful.
I know this is the only show in town, but Prom Bike is really great!
