Chuck grew up in a family owned construction business. His grandfather and his father along with his father's brothers were seasoned and masterful carpenters. So, it was only natural that Chuck follow in the footsteps of the men before him. One thing his dad taught him was to never specialize in one area.

Chuck refinished a dining table that had belonged to my Aunt many years ago and of which she had been very proud. Unfortunately we used it as a computer table for about 40 years and really messed up the top. He discovered that it was heart cherry, which I didn't even know about, and did a beautiful job of refinishing it.

Chuck and his crew were absolutely fantastic. They were professional, always taking care to knock on the front door before they moved into the backyard to let us know they were there. They worked from early to late, and the finished deck is outstanding. He designed a large deck with no center piling, so that we could have a large open area underneath. That's what you get when you hire a structural engineer. I could not be more pleased. From the little things (like bringing their own potty) to the final site clean up, Chuck and his crew were great. I highly recommend them.
