Roaring Point Waterfront Campground requests the pleasure of your company. We are a family operated business since 1974. We are a smaller park offering a pristine experience. The majority of our sites are 50'x50'. Our mission is to preserve the traditional camping experience which includes valuable time with family and friends while connecting with our natural surroundings.
Fishing, crabbing, swimming and relaxation are some of the favorite things to do at our park. We offer entertainment on most weekends for those that enjoy crafts, bingo, tournaments, live music, and a good 'ole fashioned hayride. The property dates back to the 1700's with Civil War Soldiers camping in the surrounding fields.

Love love LOVE roaring point. Great place to spend a weekend. Get up early on Saturday to do arts and crafts with krista, stay up late in the evening for live music. Most every weekend they’ve got something going on- whether it be tiki hut snow cones or petting zoos. Don’t have a camper? Bring out your tent to one of their sites right near the water. Beautiful beach.

Even though this is a nice quiet campground I gave it one star for the following reason: they had started to decorate for Labor Day, beautiful American flag display throughout the park, then we noticed the flags being taken down and replaced with flower decorations we were told the owners thought it was inappropriate to have that display for Labor Day. I thought to myself are we on foreign soil or am I still in the USA. Shame on you Roaring Point it's never inappropriate to decorate with the red, white and blue. But for this retired Navy Chief I will continually fly my flag and decorate with the

This campground is a great- small- family environment. One way in/ with a gate. Private beach. On a river that's more like a bay. The owners and staff are amazing. They answer the phone! There are a lot of permanent spots so it fills quickly. Spots are big! Few trees.
Some things you need to know:
You may need 2 septic lines if your camper empties at its front as the drains seem to be at your back. Take a water line possibly with a water filter if you aren't use to sandy well water. It's on the water/ on the point, the wind is constant. If you need to go to the camp store and are located in the

This place is so peaceful and quiet and everyone was friendly. Water front park over looks Nantikoke River and Chesapeak bay beyond giving beautiful sunsets and soft bay breezes .Fairly wide spaces allow easy in and out and plenty of room to enjoy provided picnic tables and fire rings. Wi fi really good where we were . Excellent view of the water. Highly recommend . 2 things. Be very sure you know how to get here and that your route DOES NOT include any ferries. We went down a long narrow road only to find that it ended at a ferry no larger than our RV. It was far to narrow to turn around so we

A nice campground on the water, but not all sites have full hookups. Water pressure was only fair. They had a couple bands during the weekend that were decent. We visited last October and the bugs were not bad at all, but visited again this May and the bugs were crazy at some locations and various times of the day, almost unbearable. The store hours were limited and access was limited. The sites were spacious and the view was great.
