Services
Are you looking for a professional, friendly, and experienced chimney care company in Knox, Blount, Loudon, or Jefferson county? You've come to the right place! We're Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA)-certified sweeps and our technicians have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide the high level of service our customers deserve.
Nothing beats the beauty, warmth, relaxation, and ambiance that a fireplace brings to the home, which is why it's one of the most desired features of homebuyers, year after year. We get it! Here at TN Fireplace and Chimney, we're passionate about fireplaces and we love making sure that the fireplaces and chimneys of our neighbors in Knox, Blount, Loudon, and Jefferson counties are clean, beautiful, and problem-free.
You've seen the mess that a fire makes in your fireplace, but have you given much thought to what it does to your chimney? Every time you build a roaring fire and kick up your feet, you may be taking it easy, but your chimney's working hard to vent smoke, high heat, and corrosive byproducts and gases.
With all that's unseen by the naked eye, it can be difficult to know whether or not your chimney system is in tip-top shape or if repairs or cleanings are needed. How can you be sure if you can't see 90% of the system? Well, the best way to stay in the know with your chimney is to schedule a chimney inspection with a Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA)-certified chimney professional.
Here at TN Fireplace and Chimney, we know how hard it is to know whether or not your chimney is operating as safely and as efficiently as possible or if problems are lurking inside the flue. Without getting a good look inside, it's largely guesswork. If you're wanting a little more peace of mind or struggling to figure out why your system isn't performing at peak levels, consider having a video scan performed.

I hired TN Fireplace and Chimney in May 2020 to inspect for chimney leak which resulted in replacing chase cover and flashing. At the time their work seemed satisfactory, and the leak was resolved. The leak reappeared on a smaller scare late 2021, so I placed a phone call to Jacob Cate to discuss. The call was never returned, so I placed a second call with no response. I then tried left a message on the website and no response. A visual inspection of my flashing indicates that some of the flashing may have come loose and needs attention.
It appears I now need to contact another firm to inspect

Writing on behalf of my lady! She called to get inspection for Gas Logs in her condo. Two guys show up, but told her, they know more about Wood Burners than Gas! They checked the Chimney, reported to their boss, the chimney was closed off! WRONG! OPEN with NO FLUE. Wind constantly comes in the house. They left and told her, no charge for their visit. Well, Today, she gets a call from the company they are charging her $150 for service call. FOR WHAT? They did NOTHING except drive to her home! They had no clue what they were looking into. After this SNAFU, she called another company and after inspection

I was very pleased with the service provided by TN Fireplace and Chimney. After scheduling my appointment by phone, I received an email confirmation. I also received an email confirmation the day before, along with a phone call. Then the service technician called 30 minutes ahead to let me know he was en route. Upon arrival, he explained the process and how long it would take. Allan and Daniel were very professional, prompt, and thorough. They took great care to be clean and to explain everything. I received the inspection report within minutes of their departure. I would definitely recommend them

Wow what a professional company! I thought I was professional and give great service but they TOTALLY outclass me in that department. They were honest about how many weeks out my appointment would have to be, they set the appointment and were upfront as to what the cost could be, they emailed and texted several days before the appointment as a reminder, they called the day before to verbally confirm the appointment, and then they texted when the service person was en route to my house! They wore a mask when I requested it and kept socially distant, and did not touch things other than what they

I requested a chimney cleaning and inspection. They performed both and I feel they they did a good job. They gave a very professional report that explained the issues with the fireplace. I would use them again. Price of the inspection and cleaning was ~$325. I wouldn't call it a deal but I can't do what they did for any cheaper. I would use them again.
