Visited twice in the past two weeks... its nice as long as you like playing half a game and having the lane shut down as a ball is rolling down the lane. Kids really do not like the idea by the way. Plus all of the balls have a greasy film all over them that smells like WD40... probably disinfectant. Seems like a bad business model for guests to me.

Went on a bowling night out with friends and we had the best waiter name Oscar with a k lol he totally took his time with us ordering specials drinks until it was time to order food while waiting on our lane to be ready after waiting at the bar for hr. This is a great one stop entertainment shop. There are lots of bowling lanes, an extensive arcade, laser tag, and a large menu.
The place is clean, with minimal visual distractions (You know how some bowling places have obnoxious screens and videos playing the whole time? Kingpins is NOT that type of place.)
There are lots of staff who are friendly and take their jobs seriously.

TL;DR: Meh. Staff is wonderful, arcade is meh. Maybe try the whole experience and it'll be a lot better.
Went here to kill an hour before the ball dropped! I want to be clear that the staff did the absolute best they could with the crowd and chaos. They were all friendly and helpful. I also only hung out at the arcade, so grain of salt as I don't have any experience with their bowling or restaurant.
I've been to other kingpin locations before and really enjoyed it! I thought this would be the same but, not so much. They are absolutely not equipped to handle large crowds. More

A group of 5 went on a Saturday night around 6:30pm and it was no more than a 10-15 minute wait to get a lane, easy! We were all about to get the right sized shoes and bowling balls quickly. No sense of a backlog thankfully.
There's a Taproom inside and it's a full bar with lots of beer on tap! We just got a pitcher of Blue Moon and some Coronas. We also ordered a large loaded fries and they were really good!! The large was quite small for a large, in my opinion. Nonetheless, still delicious and I would absolutely order them again.
The staff was attentive. Our time bowling was great

This place is wonderful! There is an abundance of games and entertainment for kids of all ages. My teens enjoy coming here. It’s a perfect place for adults to kick back as well. There is a lounge with lanes if you want to enjoy adult beverages with a little more privacy. The lanes for families is spacious and comfortable as well. It’s clean! The waitstaff is courteous and prompt. In the arcade there are games and a VR arena as well as a paintball section. You also get free credits when you add money to your game card. I believe a $35 top up is $15 extra in game credits and goes up from there

We love king pins! We randomly took my 4 year old who caught the bowling bug this summer and have almost been weekly since. Have had an amazing experience every time. Fast and friendly service and food is much better than any bowling I've had in the past! Very accommodating to small kids with light balls, ramps, bumpers, patience, etc. Arcade is also great in the sense your $$$ actually gets your children decent prizes in the ticket exchange and not $50 for a bouncy ball and an air head. Happy hour is awesome, great and rotating tap list! Can't say enough great things!

Cannot comment on the food and drink because all we had was water, BUT we had fun, the staff was friendly, and they were trying to do their part to keep everyone distanced. They were also checking vaccination cards to allow people to be maskless. They gave out wristbands to those that presented their cards to alert the staff whether that person should be allowed the privilege. They are ahead of the game! I haven't seen anywhere doing this yet.
This is our closest bowling spot and I would come back. Great for families. Has lots of bowling lanes, an arcade, tap house and grill, and clean bathrooms

We rented one of the premium lanes in the lounge for a few hours for our friends outing. Given how expensive it was per hour to bowl, the staff seemed lackadaisical when we were trying to flag them down. There was a service button on the touch screen monitor and rarely did someone answer our page for help. Staff showed up a few times but it was slow...and when you are paying to bowl per hour, every malfunction and service issue cuts down on your time to actually bowl.
Our lane broke down 4 times during our 2 hour stay. Kingpins ended up giving us extra time after we made complaints, but I

Came here for The Office Trivia and was surprised that a bowling alley was so nice?!
The back bar area (private party space, possibly?)where the trivia was held overlooked some lanes and was next to an impressively large arcade. While I never think of hanging out of a bowling alley (sounds like a suburban hell to me), I can see the appeal of a place where you can get beer, bowl or set the kids loose in the arcade.

I've actually been here more than a few times. For a party, bowling with friends, and to watch league bowling once a week; my husband is an addict.
It's come a long way since 20th century; Completely unrecognizable. The bar is at the other end, and there is an arcade now, taking the place where some of the lanes used to be.
Even though league bowling still takes place here, it's more of an entertainment venue than a bowling alley, so the prices are much higher than average. The food is pretty good, but also, quite expensive. The service isn't bad, but can be on the slow

My 3 friends and I went to Kingpins Portland for their trivia night with Graham from Stumptown Trivia. It was themed The Office. It was in the taproom area. It was very packed but the restaurant did their best to accommodate everyone.
We managed to find a table near the bowling action and in the trivia section. We watched bowling, listened and participated in trivia and enjoyed food and drinks.
Our waiter that night was awesome! He was working so many tables and still remained friendly and fast in service. I got a Hornitos with a soda water and later a Sessions Cervesa. I then ordered

Yeah, i like it. A lot. A whole hell of a lot.
KingPins for me is the perfect combination of "traditional bowling alley" and "trendy elevated bowling experience", a pretty great spot to land. About 75% of the building is totally a regular bowling alley, however it's newly renovated with top-notch technology and equipment. Then you have the other 25%, which is the loungier side: huge TV screens playing music videos, comfortable seating areas, and dimmer, more inviting lighting. Needless to say, I've spent the bulk of my time on the more "adult" side, which
