Pine Cove Campground is a seasonal/permanent monthly only RV Park. We are a family run, private campground, accommodating anything from tents to large RVs. We strive to provide a family atmosphere with activities for children and adults alike. Whether you enjoy swimming, canoeing, corn hole, grilling, socializing, fishing, hiking, basketball, or just relaxing by the fire we are sure to have what you need.
We are located in Wilmington, Ohio near Cowan Lake State Park, and within a close drive to Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton, Ohio. The campground is situated among beautiful mature trees on a 25 acre facility. With access to Cowan Lake directly from the campground, Pine Cove also offers all the fun activities associated with being near a lake.

Before the current owners took over the campground, Pine Cove Campground was a very different place. As you can see from a previous review it was a "stay up all night and party campground" Jim and Julie have worked tirelessly to get away from that stigma and become a more family-friendly place. They've updated bathrooms to a considerably more pleasant standard, purchased new playground equipment, and introduced more events for families and friends. Everyone is included and everyone is treated fairly.

Pine Cove Campground is a beautiful, fun, family friendly campground. We've been here 7 years. We call it my husbands "Happy Place", and my granddaughter LOVES it!! The owner's are friendly and keep the facility well maintained. They have fun activities scheduled on weekends throughout the season. We've met some really great people camping at Pine Cove! It's always sad when the season ends, but we always count down the days til spring when the new season starts!

We have been campers at Pine Cove for the last 5 seasons and I must say that since the new owners took over 4 years ago we have experienced nothing but outstanding hospitality and customer service. They have been prompt to take care of any issues. The changes they have made have not gone unnoticed and as a matter of fact have made the campground more attractive. When we first came to Pine Cove I wouldn't dare enter any of the bathrooms because they were dark and dirty. Not anymore. Yes, we have to register our guests and there is a security gate, however, I feel this is for the safety of our children

Exceptional campground!! My wife and I have been camping for a number of years. Like most campers we have visited many campgrounds. I will have to say the experience we have had at Pine Cove has been truly enjoyable. While we still have a couple weeks of camping left this year I am already excited for the 2017 season. You can really see the owners' dedication to their campground by the multiple improvements they make each year. As a seasonal camper it is nice to see pride the owners have taken with their facility. This is our 6th summer at Pine Cove and we love it there. We have made many great friends and look forward to going there every weekend. The facilities are very nice and the owners take great pride in the campground. And if you look around at the campground you can also see the pride that the campers take in their campsites as well. We have grandchildren that we bring to camp with us occasionally and we feel they are very safe. I can't say enough good about Pine Cove. If you are looking for a safe and relaxing place to camp, come and check it out. :)

If my husband and I didn't live 6 minutes away from the campground, we would definitely lease a spot at Pine Cove! Our friends who live in Cincinnati have their RV at Pine Cove and regularly invite us to hang out there. A few weeks back we were invited to attend a "food and drink crawl." I can't even tell you how much fun we had. Each section of the grounds had their own theme and different food and drinks to go with it. Everyone would spend 45 minutes at one spot and then move on to the next. It was awesome!! Another great event was the carnival. It was mainly kid related, but it was so nice to

Just completed our fourth year in this wonderful campground. We have sincerely enjoyed every aspect of this camping experience. We are fortunate to be able to camp every weekend. So, during the camping season Pine Cove Campground becomes our home away from home and we love every minute of the time! The owners, Jim and Julie, have always been friendly, caring and concerned. They are super nice individuals who work very hard at making this one of the nicest and most comfortable camping facilities we have stayed in!

This was our first season at Pine Cove and we loved it! We personally haven't experienced any of the negative things written in some of the reviews. The campground is beautiful and I've always been impressed with the way the owners (Julie and Jim) seem to remember my family and what's going on in our personal lives even though they sometimes don't see us for weeks at a time. They are always friendly and seem to take a genuine interest in the families at Pine Cove. We will be back next year and hope to have the same experience!
