We have been repairing Diesel Injector pumps and injectors since 2002, and have over 30 years experience with Diesel Engines. Most of our experience is with farm and light industrial equipment and that is what we concentrate on. Until 1998 I was an owner of a Farm Equipment and Equipment repair business, then became a manufactures representative, working in Sales and Service.
I understand how you feel when your fuel injection pump gives you trouble. Many times I was told that "My pump is not fixable" my thoughts to that was that it was a piece of iron. Iron CAN be fixed, cost should be the factor. Although it never seemed to matter how a pump was running when I sent it to be repaired it always cost me $600-$700 even if it was just leaking.

If you are planning to remove the injector pump from your tractor there are a few things that will make this job a lot easier. Some Diesel Injection Pumps do need to be timed before they are removed some it is not necessary to have them in time. Stanadyne and Roosa Master it will make the installation a lot easier if they are in time when they are removed.
When Preparing to send your injector pump through the USPS, Fed EX or UPS you want to be sure of a few things. 2 Be sure the pump is drained of all fluids, CAV Rotary pumps loosen the bleed screws or take the side plate off to let the pump drain, after any pump is drained replace what you removed to drain it, if it was a bleed screw or side cover.
