Services
Palestine Regional Medical Center is committed to providing you with the best available healthcare along with convenient and reliable billing services. Your hospital bill does not include charges for your personal physician, surgeon, anesthetist, pathologist, radiologist, emergency room physician or other physician's consultants.
ER wait times, as displayed on this website, are an average and provided for informational purposes only. If you are having a medical emergency, call 9-1-1. The ER wait time as shown is calculated using a 4 hour rolling average which is updated every 15 minutes. Each time used to calculate the average is defined as the time of patient registration at the ER until the time a patient is greeted by a qualified medical professional.
Selection of a health care provider is a personal choice. Most or all of the health care providers performing services in this Hospital are independent contractors who have privileges to practice at the Hospital but they are not Hospital employees, representatives or agents. This includes but is not limited to radiologists, pathologists, emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, hospitalists, surgeons and others.
Thank you for choosing Palestine Regional Medical Center to meet your health care needs. We consider it a privilege to serve you and your family. The goal of every Palestine Regional Medical Center staff member is to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible while following the medical care plan specially designed for you by your physician.

I have worked for this place and I can vouch that this place is a dump! The leadership that runs the place CEO and HR director coincide to make every job there he’ll. I worked maintenance so I’ve been all over the hospital. The Maintenance director is a joke. I would not recommend for you to come for medical or for employment.

My mother is there right now, and the nurses are not doing their job. They're standing around talking, when there are people who needs assistance. My mom is having chest problems, and they've even said themselves that it has something to do with her heart, and she handed them her paperwork, and one of the nurses tried to give her a morphine shot!(she's allergic and it even said on her paper that she handed them) but it doesn seem like they care.shes been recording this mess too, so we have proof. Unacceptable. Do not come here if you're in a serious emergency.or don't come here at all.

Had the nurse and nurse practitioner both roll there eyes at me when I asked about a chest x-ray to check for pneumonia while in the er here after getting a call from the dr to check up on me and told me to request one bc he rechecked my last x-ray (from Sunday night) showed a touch of it. Then was handed my discharge papers and refused to do the chest x-ray.
Absolutely the worst er I have ever been in!!

Small outdated, not very spectacular as far as aesthetics. Staff is friendly but over worked.
