Services
As a non-profit early education center, VICCC heavily depends on many funding sources. Whether through local government block grants, fundraising efforts, or donations - each penny counts. Our children receive scholarships to cover the funding gap between subsidy payments and parent co-pays. The average cost VICCC must cover is $8,000 a month; funds which come from donations just like yours.
Valley Interfaith Child Care Center partners with local Social Service organizations to receive children. We may also have scholarship opportunities available, please contact us at 540-951-8101 for more information. If you have any questions please email the Center Director, Judy Shelor at viccccburg@verizon.net or call our center at 540-951-8101.
These organizations all play a vital role in the sustainability of VICCC. We know them as "adVICCCates" - because they are our voices in the community, advocating for support and sharing their experiences with VICCC throughout the NRV and beyond. Their actions help us, and we want the community to know!

Our son really likes going to daycare here and I am really happy with the care he receives. The staff are always happy to see him and are very attentive to his needs (allergies). The center is large and dedicated to being a daycare full time with multiple classrooms and a couple great play yards outside. Because so many parts of the community are invested in supporting VICCC, there are always ample supplies on hand. There is a lot of diversity in the staff and kids which I love exposing him to. I think that because it offers options for low income families they are subjected to scrutiny by outside

I've experienced several day cares with my oldest two...so I've seen the good and the bad! Our foster daughter began coming to this daycare in 2012 and we've been nothing but happy! This is a really good daycare! I completely disagree with the bad reviewer's comments. They are very organized, they do teach the kids things (even in the baby room!), and the staff there has been constant in the year + that we've been there! This daycare has been by far the best one we've seen in the NRV and I especially like the fact that the class sizes are small! I feel this is extremely beneficial to the kids!
