We have been putting a lot of work and care into our property. Our rooms and suites are the nicest and newest you will find in downtown Steamboat. They've been remodeled and they resemble the quality of the rooms of the top hotels in Steamboat. Each room includes cable TV, direct dial telephone service, A/C, refrigerator & microwave, hair dryer, alarm clock/radio, full bath/shower, and coffee maker (provided upon request).
Pets are welcome at the Nordic Lodge as long as you let us know you are bringing them when reserving your room because some rooms are pet-free (some people have allergies). Please do not leave your dog unattended in the room. If you do and your dog barks - you may be held responsible for refunds to guests next-door who may choose to leave the property because of the barking dog.

I do not normally write reviews but my experience at The Nordic Lodge was so exceptional I knew I had to. Greg, Isabella and Emily are amazing! So happy to answer all questions and generally care that you have a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and spacious and the location can't be beat. Walking distance to everything. Trust me when I say, if you are looking for an affordable place to stay while visiting look no further. You won't be sorry. From Your Florida family that had never seen snow before :)

It doesn't look like much from the outside, with the dated faux-log exterior siding, but inside it is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Shower pressure could have been a little better, but no complaints about anything else at this property. The fact that it is as convenient to downtown nightlife as you can get is just a bonus. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful service! We stayed in the king apartment suite for 5 days. This is a family-owned business and you can tell how much heart and soul is put into it. The owners were always pleasant and the room was cozy and spacious. I don't think we could have chosen a better place to stay. Love from Maryland!

First time in steamboat and such a great time!
Staff was very friendly and welcoming, gave us great tips on what was going on in town. Had our dog with us. Great dog friendly place.
Room was very clean with cute mountain decor. Centrally located. Walked everywhere and 5 min to the mountain. We will be back! Thanks for a great trip!

First thing first, the staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. They are ready to serve you in the best manner possible. They went out of comfort to call the RMNP helpline and browse the places for us. Ask anything and they will do their best. We had booked a 2-bed room with them, Room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was really huge. The room was equipped with all basic amenities like a TV, microwave, fridge, A/C, and heater. The coffee machine was a miss, but you can get that from the office other than a variety of teas available. The property is in downtown so everything is close by

Just recently stayed here with a dog in tow and this hotel was perfect. I informed them I was coming late; and Emily was super sweet when we got there. The entire staff is amazing. The room was comfortable. The location of this hotel is spot on too; you'll be right on the strip of the downtown area, everything is walking distance. No idea why google would call this place a 2-star hotel. I give it 4. I really can't wait to visit steamboat again so we can stay at the nordic lodge once more.

Great place to stay. Dropped off my daughter for college so I decided to stay at 3 different hotels. This way when I return to visit I know where to stay. This one was my favorite. Rooms are clean, no yucky smells, bed is comfy. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Location is awesome 4 min away from college and walking distance to shops and food. They also have different options - from queen bed to suite, and two bedrooms with kitchen.
