My first experience with acupuncture! Of course, I didn't know what to expect when my treatment began. After the acupuncture Dr. Shimoda asked me to lie there while she left the room. While lying on the bed I began to relax and become very calm. While lying there my calmness began to bring beautiful thoughts of my birth family and then my own family. While my thoughts brought me joy when Dr. Shimoda came in it seemed to me I wanted to be in that state longer. Looking forward to my next treatment with Dr. Shimoda. Cindy Chapman

Incredible almost pain free from multiple dislocations and broken bones cartilage damages lower back disc damage too and whip lash.. pinched nerves too ..Acupuncture really works. Sleeping better and dreaming deeper , eating better organic foods avoiding all Breads and Loosing weight 😊😊😊😊😊 I can pick my grandson up and carry him about now . I had always been very spectacular about doing Accupunture. Have a cousin you had always swear by it. Finally convinced after so many years and suffering from pain. Finally went this week and was a beautiful experience. She took me in went all over my history and then started to do my initial work up. Didn’t even feel the needles by the time she finish I left that office with minimal pain and able to raise my right arm. Looking forward to going for my next treatment.
Would recommend anyone who needs relief to go.

I have been coming to Medical Acupuncture for a few months and love it. Aleksey is very patient and really wants to understand your challenges before making a treatment plan. He is also very willing to change up course of treatment depending on your body and what you need the day of your visit.

Wow, what a wonderful team! After being sick for a period of time, I started jogging again and noticed that not even at a quarter mile my feet would get tingly and eventually will go numb. I would have to stop stretching rub them before continuing. Without answers I turnt to acupuncture.
This team is so knowledgeable and caring, after a few treatments, I am now jogging just about 2 miles before I start experiencing any symptoms.

This was by far the best acupuncture treatment I’ve had! Instead of poking me with needles on various parts of my body and walking out of the room, Alex took the time to really get a sense of my ailments on my initial visit. He listened closely and asked the right questions, felt my muscles for sensitivity and tried different techniques from what I’d experienced before. He explained what he was doing and I felt completely relaxed and comfortable. I’d recommend him and the services at Medical Acupuncture. I’ll be back!

I love this place, the acupuncture treatments are such a relief. The Massage room has state of the art equipment, I love the massage bed . I look forward to going in for my appointment, the doctors are so professional and helpful to me in taking care of myself between appointments. I have been seeing Hiroko for about a year now for my stage IV breast cancer that has spread to the lungs, brain & bones, which is the source of my pain and can be excruciating at times. Hiroko always sits down with me before we begin and will customize my treatment for that session based on my feedback from the week. I have went in with a pain… level close to a 10 and come out with it closer to a 4 or 5 and sometimes almost completely pain free. I am blown away each time at her knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine and how she applies it. I learn something new almost every time

Dr. Shimoda's acupuncture treatments have caused my severe chronic osteoarthritic pain in my knees, hips and shoulders to be almost negligible. Other doctors were pushing opiods and other pain meds. None of them worked. Dr. Shimoda's treatments have caused my chronic pain levels to decrease from an average 8-9 level, to now about 0-2 level, at worst. And no pain meds. She's gentle, explains everything, and makes even the most skeptical of patients (I was) feel relaxed. I'm sorry I didn't try this method of pain control earlier.....
