Founded in 1957, our family run business has provided steel manufacturing, cranes, pile driving and machining for the Northern California region. From supplying modular bridges for purchase or rent, to full service marine construction and pile driving, Daniel Steel guarantees commercial-grade quality.
With our 4,500 square foot machine shop, and our 9,700 square foot fabrication shop floor in Ukiah, California, we have a constant flow of steel manufacturing and repair projects. We are comfortable in either a project management role, or acting as a sub-contractor to client assigned management, with general services categories including, but by no means limited to.
From 10 foot to 24 foot wide, and up to 80 feet clearspan, these easy to assemble, easy to transport bridges are weight rated from HS20 to U80. When you need a bridge for temporary or emergency access, renting a Daniel Bridge is an ideal option. This is a little late in coming, but I want to thank you and your Dad for the excellent work your company did during the construction of the Oakhaven Bridge in Glen Ellen.
Road surface decking comes in a variety of thickness, 1/4", 5/16", or 3/8", and can be flat or diamond plate. Diamond plate can add grip except in areas of frost or snow where the decrease in tire to bridge surface contact can adversely affect traction. We can also add texture by tarring followed by a layer of sand / gravel.
