One of the most well known high school bands in the country and steeped in rich tradition, the East Hall Viking Bands have established a tradition of excellence and have been consistent in quality performances given and entertainment value. We, as a band family, value integrity and passion toward success in all aspects.
While establishing a positive atmosphere, we manifest self-discipline and respect towards everyone. Role modeling is our top priority because it builds trust. Services
Mr. Jakob Alexandrian joined the East Hall High School Band staff as percussion coordinator in the summer/fall of 2018 and currently serves as the batterie arranger for the 2020 season. He is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Music Education at the University of North Georgia. Jakob has a wealth of experience in both the high school and world-class levels of the marching activity.
The foundation of the music education experience at East Hall is established in the concert band courses. These bands rehearse all year during the school day, as well as during co-curricular after school rehearsals. In this setting, music principles and fundamentals are taught, practiced and developed.
It is the responsibility of each participant to faithfully fulfill their financial obligations and responsibilities to the band program. The program is almost entirely funded by the participating members. Every attempt is made by band faculty and association leadership to minimize the program cost while providing a quality band program to all.
The East Hall High School Band Parent Association (EHBPA) is dedicated to supporting the students, directors, and the overall program in providing a world-class music education for our students. Strong parent and community support is vital to a successful band program. All parents and families are welcome and much-needed!
The East Hall Middle School Viking Band has a long tradition of excellence thanks to the tireless efforts Viking Band students over the past 50+ years. The EHMS Viking Band program continues to thrive through the tremendous efforts of students, staff and parents. Viking Band members are truly leaders at East Hall Middle School.
