Golden Age Bay Area (also known as Golden Independence Home Care) has a 20+ year history serving clients in the larger Bay Area. We are based in the Castro Valley and San Jose regions of the Bay Area. Our journey started as a small referral agency for caregivers in the late 1980's. It was eventually bought over by a patient's daughter who grew the single referral agency to a multiple home care agency over the years.

DO NOT hire this company. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
I am a young adult with a physical disability and used this company for my personal care attendant needs -- I was a client of theirs for a long 2 years, unfortunately, out of desperation because I could not find any other personal care attendants myself. When I originally signed up with Golden Age, they told me they had a bountiful staff of attendants, as well as several "on-call" attendants at all time to cover when regularly scheduled staff called out sick. That was actually the case MAYBE 8 times in the time I was a client. When
