Ricardo and his staff are excellent. He knew exactly what medication to recommend after the very first consultation. I had been on the wrong medication for 17 years. Once my medication was changed to the correct one my life changed completely for the better. I can not believe how many years I suffered due to being misdiagnosed. This practice is wonderful and I have never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen.

I made my appointment with Bierrenbach almost two months ago. I received an email declaring my financial responsibility for my first appointment would be $74. I arrive to my appointment and the receptionist tells me their insurance person was wrong and my first appointment would be over $350. Obviously I canceled my appointment and missed a day of work for nothing. Any provider that charges $350 for a therapy session does not actually care about mental health and is only concerned about making a profit.

Initial impressions were good once you get into your appointment. However as time went on it was apparent he wasn't familiar with the issue my spouse was facing. He also used the appointment as a sort of counseling session which was not helpful. We were there to address medication and quality of life. He made every session about himself in one way or another. I think if you have very mild needs this office is fine but for more complex scenarios he would not be my recommendation. You will also wait a very long time in his waiting room every single time. (Obviously this was before Covid). We

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Bierrenbach and the wonderful people who work with him. Their Google star wattage far exceeds 5:). I came to him during a trying time following my cancer treatment and within a couple of weeks I felt like my life was finally getting back on track. That was roughly 8 months ago and I still feel great. Keep on keepin’ on, Dr B! You are the best of the best!

Dr. B is far and above any psychiatrist I have ever had. I’ve been misdiagnosed and on the wrong medications for 20 years. He recognized this almost immediately. He changed my medications and changed my life. When people use the expression, “It’s like night and day.” I personally know what that means now. He has helped me come out of the darkness and into the light. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I think he is wonderful. I met him at a free clinic when I was 28 and a mess. He spent lots of time finding the right meds for me. I have known him for 20 years and he loves to talk about how things are going in your life and always encourages me to try new things. Ex. Jobs. I would not ever want to see anyone else.

Dr Bierrenbach looks at your situation with fresh eyes and addresses both your mental and physical health. He is very knowledgeable about pharmaceuticals and I feel like I can trust him with respect to recommendations in that area. In addition, he is personable and cheerful— nice-to-haves that some psychiatrists do not bring to the table. At my first visit we discussed my history and symptoms. I also learned a lot about my health, medications and why I could be still struggling to see progress. I left the appointment feeling like I had a plan of action versus emotionally drained by talking too

I went in for help for my severe panic disorder. He was a genuinely nice and compassionate person. But I wasn’t able to explain symptoms and communicate my concerns because whenever I would start answering a question he would interrupt me or move on to a different topic. I was expecting to be asked series of questions regarding different kinds of mental health issues to properly diagnose me and figure out what treatment was best. I have a lot of scary symptoms that I wanted to discuss and I kept waiting to be asked further questions about symptoms but he did mostly all of the talking about other
