Thompson Motorsports was founded by Kyle Thompson in 2009. Kyle was determined to open a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide excellent and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew. In the summer of 2009 he and his wife built the shop that has become Thompson Motorsports.
Shipping for engines ordered online will come with economy freight shipping. If priority or any other type of shipping is needed please call for pricing. All motors will come in an approved wooden crate. Shipping charges are non refundable. If the package arrives damanged, do not accept it.

Fill with Valvoline conventional VR1 20-50w Motor oil (this works best with high HP big cam motors, DO NOT use thin full synthetic fluids). With coil packs and injectors UN plugged turn key to start position and allow motor to turn over for 6-10seconds. For the first 500 miles you will be in a "break in period" it is normal to burnmore oil than before during this time as your rings will be seating.

Go to Texas speed or shafiroff. This place ships you the motor without dyno then surprise! Your 650 HP 427 for 20 grand makes 580.. I should of bought a junk yard LS3 and stuck a cam In it made more then there build.. Had tons of trouble, drove down twice to fix never there fault. Go to honest place. Bought two shaffiroff engines now 454 LS big dog with dyno sheet for 18995 made 770 hp on pump gas. Absolute ripper. Look them up won't be sorry!

An all forged 388ci LSX block package capable of whatever I can throw at it. At an unbelievable value then to make it even better they packaged it with Frankenstein dynamics 6 bolt heads to make it a long block! The engine arrived ahead of schedule. So much so my shop hasn't had time to get the car in yet. Instead I'm just staring at work of art in the garage. As soon as next race season

I purchased Thompsons Motor of the Month deal. They converted it from a short block to a long block for me, worked with me to customize everything to my liking. Build time was less than their initial ETA and constant communication is fantastic.
I received my motor, did the install and when fired it up for the tune I had a lifter fail on me. a quick call to Thompson and they send me out replacement lifters ASAP to get me up and running in a timely manner. Customer service has been nothing short of excellent, will def used them again should I have the need for more go fast components.

My husband and I loved our experience with Thompson motorsport. They made everything easy no issues with the building process, no issues with delivery. They made sure everything was correct for what we where looking to do. The customer service is amazing the sales rep was great even had a great sense of humor which is amazing. My experience with Thompson Motorsports really could not have gone any better. I was two days late to contact them about a monthly special (due to a weekend at end of the month) and they were happy to still honor the deal! They asked all their needed questions for my engine build, were able to answer any questions I had, gave me an approximate build time and ship date which they met, was able to work with me on finding best shipping method to Alaska, and what really made me feel like an appreciated customer was how they took an interest in my life and didn't treat me as just another customer.
