Harper is a full-service general contracting and construction management firm that has been serving the Upstate for over 70 years. We've been in business for nearly 70 years because we do what we say we're going to do the way we say we're going to do it and because we always put ourselves in the shoes of our clients on every job we undertake.
Our mission at Harper is to build up our communities, clients and each other by building trust into everything we do. At Harper, safety is our highest priority. Our culture-based approach to safe work performance is part of the management process for all of our projects. We create and maintain a positive work environment that upholds safe behavior and empowers all project employees to take responsibility for safety.
Harper is committed to building up our communities where we live, work and play. Harper has donated over $1 Million to local charities over the last ten years, and volunteers in each of our office communities. Some of our company-wide charities include donating to United Way, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and delivering weekly meals for Meals on Wheels.
David has accumulated nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry and serves as an advocate and hands-on leader for the Harper team. Since joining Harper in 1991, David has successfully managed a diverse portfolio of projects in the commercial, education, institutional, and industrial markets.

I work with Harper General Contractors as a vendor for their branded apparel, uniforms, marketing materials, etc. and they are fantastic to work with! We've been doing business with them routinely for over a year. Their team is always professional, friendly and responsive. I would certainly recommend them as a customer!
