I went away with a positive impression of High Plains Dermatology Center and it's employees. CJ is a very likable young lady. She removed some skin tags that I had wanted to have removed for some time. She engaged in conversation with me the whole time which made the experience much more comfortable for me than it might have been otherwise. Also Dr. Jones was very nice, soft spoken and didn't appear to be in a hurry to rush though the exam like some physicians I have been to. I'll return for my follow-up exam because I like the people there.

I admire and trust Dr. Scott Miller. What concerns me is the lack of professional care taken to protect patients in the waiting area from Covid-19. Some patients are there because they are susceptible to skin cancer problems due to compromised immune systems, I, with leukemia, among them. I’d like to feel more secure.

I (Shawn Thompson) had a 10 AM appointment with Dr. Baker and was told to arrive at 9:45, which I did. After waiting an HOUR, I just left without ever seeing her. I don't know what the problem was but something needs to change--either the office staff needs to work on their scheduling or Dr. Baker needs to change her scheduling. I drove an hour and half to get to the appointment and since I live so far away, I schedule other things while I'm in Amarillo. I can't afford to waste an hour waiting to see a doctor.

Dr. Jones is the absolute best!! So caring, kind, and compassionate about what he does. He loves helping his patients! I’ve always felt comfortable addressing all my skin needs with him!
