Back in 2006, Roxann was casting about for a purpose in life. While watching The New Medicine on PBS, she found one. Roxann was particularly impressed by the therapist who was helping a patient reduce his pain through guided meditation.

She exclaimed, "That is what I want to do!" Roxann eventually found her way to Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the nation's first accredited college of hypnotherapy, where she learned the skills needed to fulfill her new purpose.Roxann enjoys helping people deal with the emotional and spiritual side of illness with hypnosis and guided imagery.
We are born with primitive instincts such as a fear of falling and a fear of loud noises and also basic reactions of fight or flight. These fears and basic reactions are the Primitive Mind. The rest of the mind is pretty much a blank slate, waiting to be filled. Throughout our infancy and childhood, our minds are like sponges.
The hypnotic state is a very relaxed, alert conscious state. It is similar to the moment when you are almost asleep. While we may use the word "sleep" when talking about hypnosis, the subject is not truly asleep. He can still hear what is being said. We enter hypnosis naturally at least twice a day: once as we are waking up and again as we are falling asleep.
I have studied many energy healing techniques over the years. I have decided to utilize those skills toward healing our planet. At the present time, our oceans are in great stress. The plan is to facilitate healing meditation meetings for the purpose of healing our oceans and our planet. I am will also be holding meetings to present the concepts behind this project.
