Precious Moments Learning Center opened in March of 2014 under the leadership/ownership of Tameshia Joyner. PMLC is currently a 3-star facility that serves the needs of children 6 weeks to 11 years of age. Precious Moments Learning Center's strives to provide a high quality, nurturing and safe learning environment for children that will help them grow into productive adults.
To achieve this goal, we will provide a structured environment that includes numerous free play opportunities and activities in the areas of arts and crafts, science, reading, writing, music, and indoor and outdoor play. To further assist parents with the care of their children, PMLC offers childcare services 24 hours a day, including weekends.

Services
Ms. Tameshia Joyner started Precious Moments Learning Center, LLC with the mission to provide quality childcare for low-income families. Ms. Joyner is a native of Bertie county and East Carolina University alumna from which she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Human Services. She also has a MBA and a Masters in Human Resource Management from Colorado Technical University.
Our infants/toddler class offers a nurturing environment with caring, well experienced care givers. Our staff focuses on the socio-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development of babies by having one on one times of songs, cuddles, tummy time/physical play, and interactive age appropriate activities.
