I went to a lot of tours: Road to Hana at Maui, Full Circle Island tour at Waikiki, whale watching, sunset cruise, Dole Plantation, Pearl Harbor, Atlantis Submarine Tour, Polynesian Cultural Center, and Diamond Head Crater hike. My best experience is Polynesian Cultural Center (book this one early, 2 months in advance). Next best is the Atlantis Submarine tour (very worth it!). We saw lots of colorful fish, rays, turtle, boats artificially placed there as tourist attraction. The cool part is while we were on the transfer boat, we saw the submarine pop up from underwater. That's a cool experience

Recommended, kid friendly, they check everyones temperature. They validate your parking in a rather difficult to find parking location and that they do for four hours. So, you have ample time to grab a drink or quick bite or Hawaiian shaved ice after the tour.
The submarine tour starts with a boat ride to the submarine, which is by itself enjoyable. The submarine goes down to 100ft depth. We saw two shipwrecks, some colorful fishes and the guide kept providing interesting stories and information. The best part was, all the seats are best seats. They do a 180 degree turn, so everyone gets to see

Excellent Whale Watching cruise in Dec. there are 3 levels on the boat and all 3 had great views. Lots of bathrooms. We saw a handful of whales - spouting water and coming out of the water. Great photo option where they take your pic going in and then pics of the whales too. You buy the digital copies and they email to you immediately - so great we loved the pics. Special shout out to Casey the server who took great care of us. Tips: take Dramamine before you go. I saw multiple people vomiting on the boat. Also if you want to sit outside, show up earlier than check in time as there were steady

This is definitely a one time experience. I’m glad I tried it. Being 100 ft under water is nice. We seen turtles, little fish, big fish, no sharks. The staff is friendly. I love how you have to transition between the boat and submarine. Your ears don’t pop in the submarine. You don’t feel claustrophobic. Every view is perfect.

Just went today and it was awesome! The boat ride there had so many pretty views and you could see the submarine coming out of the water which was awesome. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful too!! The submarine itself was pretty spacious and was pretty comfortable. The staff also narrated the whole experience to us which was awesome! We saw so many different fish and even a sea turtle! There were 2 sunken ships they took us to and also showed us an airplane. Best experience so far on our trip!! Many people say it’s bad, however it could just be that there aren’t many fish out that day

This was a wonderful experience. It's very family friendly. We enjoyed the views. We saw a spotted sting ray, 2 sea Turtles, a green eel, and a barracuda. Very neat. I'd recommend it simply for the experience even without the wildlife. It's neat to say you've been in and ridden in a submarine. We went down about 105 feet.

Slight delay with boarding but that's alright. Host(?) Jason (aka Hugo) was fantastic,
No dull moment during the ride. There's AC inside the submarine and at a comfortable temperature. There were 2 ship wrecks we saw but both times it ran by the port side first, and unfortunately we sat at the other side, so the explanation didn't really sync up for us when we viewed it. Nonetheless, it's a great ride.

What a Fantastic experience it was. Operator was very punctual, courteous and helpful. First a boat takes you from Hilton Village Waikiki to the rendezvous point to meet up with the submarine., then they Offload the passengers. There are two pilots and two captains to make sure that you are seated and secured before descending in to the depths of Pacific Ocean. The submarine takes you down About 115 feet before returns to surface. Tiffany was our captain, she was entertaining and informative. Had a fantastic view of sea creatures including huge sea turtles and yellow tails. A school of dolphins

Located at Courtyard Marriot by King Kamehameha is where you'll find the giftshop and also check in area for Submarine Atlantis in Kona! Staff was welcoming and very into their jobs which my little family loved during our stay on Big Island. (Before the State Wide Lockdown Stay At Home was initiated).
I'd recommend buying your tickets online and ahead of time. From there you can see their available openings and they also had an online deal with 1 free child ticket with a purchase of an adult ticket. When printing out your tickets and confirmation they also provide information on where

I did this because my husband and two kids were super excited about it and I have to admit, when I got on the submarine I was filled with a deep, overwhelming sense of dread at the realization that it felt just like being in the traumatic Disneyland Nemo ride. I complained about claustrophobia. Then the sub descended and I started to see fish and I regressed to my childhood when I had fanciful dreams of being a marine biologist, like every ten year old girl.
As our sub made its roughly one hour long journey across the ocean floor, descending to depths of 110 feet, I too went on a journey, one

This was well worth the price. The people who ran it were very professional and friendly. McKenzie (?sp) our tour guide was excellent. She was funny and informative. But everyone was helpful and kind.
When we first arrived we weren't sure where the tour was. We had to go inside of the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel. There they briefed us of the basics of the tour. Then we walked down to the beach to get into a small ferry where it brought us out to open seas. Here my daughter got slightly seasick from the waves. But once on the submarine she was fine.

So let me start off by saying we weren't sure if it was going to be worth it let alone going on a submarine for the first time... well after we got on and had the whole experience it was awesome!
You check in at the hotel super easy friendly staff, you get walked out to the boat take a pic, then on the boat you go. On the way out our guide McKenzie was super funny and very outgoing also very informational.
You dock next to the submarine and then go down the ladder into the sub like the movies was cool. You go down about 110 ft below sea level it was awesome first time ever doing that.
