Roger Questel is a Parson's School of Design Graduate with a degree in Environmental and Product Design. As a noted designer and an accomplished wood sculptor, Roger was sought after for the exceptional beauty of his work. Roger has been commissioned by many renowned clients including Orson Wells, Ralph Lauren, Gordon Getty and Carly Simon.
In 1990, while seeking to cast his sculptures in bronze, Roger invented a lightweight and affordable metal composite material. Questech Metal took on a life of its own when Roger patented his innovation and founded Questech Corporation. In 1991, the Smithsonian Institute inducted Questech Metal into its permanent collection of innovative materials at the Cooper-Hewitt National Museum of Design.
