Professional Hearing Aid Associates provide hearing services for infants, children and adults. Combating hearing loss requires insightful testing for all ages. With early detection of speech and hearing issues, patients are provided with more comprehensive results and an expansive range of treatment options.
At Professional Hearing Aid Associates, we offer FREE complete hearing evaluations to determine your hearing needs. The evaluation is done to determine if a hearing loss is present and, if so, to detail the type and severity of the hearing loss. It also may provide insight into the cause of the hearing loss as well as provide guidance for the audiologist in making appropriate treatment recommendations- or referrals to other professionals.
Cerumen, also known as earwax, is naturally produced by the glands in the ears to lubricate the ear canals and keep dust and debris from getting too far down in the ear canal. Cerumen typically clears itself from the ears, but in some instances can accumulate and cause a blockage, especially if you wear earmolds or hearing aids.
There are several steps that are part of a hearing aid evaluation. If you suspect that you might need a hearing aid, you will first need to have a hearing evaluation. At the time of the hearing evaluation, a case history will be taken to determine how much your hearing problem impacts your day-to-day life as well as the lives of your family.

The doctors there do not have any compassion for people with disabilities@!@
Also I called back to talk o the receptionist and he apologized for Dr Pfeifer. I told him that the uncompasionate Dr needs to apologize. She seemed upset about my ear wax. This is the reason for my hearing loss. Don't they get it!!!

I purchased Resound hearing aides from the Professional Hearing Aid Associates as well as a streamer.
I have found them to very knowledgeable about hearing, having trying professional audiologist.
I also appreciate them being a family owned business that has been around for some time.
There staff is very friendly and accommodating.
But most of all that take care of their customers. I have had a few issues and adjustments needed and each time they have been accommodating.
I HIGHLY recommend Harry Hilderman and his staff!
I drive from KC to Topeka for this professionalism.

Professional Hearing Aid Associates is one of the best. The staff is amazing and they are very helpful. I like how they greet you as you come in to their office and offer you something to drink while you wait. They are always willing to help you in any way possible. My husband uses the hearing aids, and he has never had to wait for very long. They not only provide the hearing test, but offer many different choices to give you the best experience possible.

I've been wearing hearing aids for 25 years and have dealt with hearing aid providers and audiologists all over the country. Professional Hearing Aid Associates has been the best by far. They fit me with an excellent set of aids and have been courteous and helpful in the 5 or so years I have been dealing with them. I'll be a customer for as long as I'm anywhere near Topeka! I recommend them to everyone I know who might need aids.
