I am a lifestyle photographer specializing in families, couples, babies, senior portraits, & pets. I miss my LA clients so much, but damn, do I love the Arizona landscape and sunsets! I am living the Arizona dream life now with a studio inside my house! I started my photography journey in 2011 when I couldn't stop dressing up my dogs in costumes and taking their photos.
My boston terriers have been on national greeting cards thanks to their mother's passion. Before becoming a photographer I was a model for ten + years. I know my lighting and how to pose clients in a natural way because of modeling. I also know how to be with your children because of my own! No "say cheese" is allowed with me!

My current mini session special is backdrop sessions in my studio! This is the perfect opportunity to get updated photos of your kids, a mommy and me session, a headshot, a photo with your pets, a quick family photo. Endless options and so fun and easy! These backdrop sessions are $175 for ten photos.

We are so grateful for Genevieve! It was easy to book a time and she was amazing during our session. She (somehow) captured beautiful shots of our energetic twin toddlers despite many bird walks and snack breaks. We got our photos within a week and they were gorgeous. She works miracles!

I've been looking for someone to photograph myself and my dogs for such a long time. Most pet photographers charge outrageous amounts, but Genevieve had great rates! She made my dogs feel super comfortable and I am so in love with how they turned out. I was afraid that I was going to look awkward in the photos, but she was able to make me look so good! We had our photoshoot in the morning, and by the early afternoon, she was finished with editing and sent me over the photos! It was super fast! I love that she asked about what I envisioned for the shoot and was down to do anything that I wanted

Where to start? My husband and I scheduled our maternity pictures with Genevieve and it was our first time being professionally photographed. Needless to say, we were a tad nervous. From the first contact, I knew Genevieve was the right pick to capture this special time in our lives. She was quick to respond to all of my questions, gave us lots of location options and even communicated to us about the weather to make sure we were getting the best quality photos.

We are speechless! My husband and I were in AZ on our babymoon (from MN) and wanted to do a maternity shoot in one of our favorite places. We are overwhelmed with how amazing our photos turned out. I didn't think it was possible to be in love with every single one. We will treasure them forever!

Genevieve did an amazing job taking pictures for our family! She was very nice and great to work with. She was patient with our 3 year old and kept thinking of new ways to keep him interested or to capture unique moments. In typical 3 years old fashion, he wasn't super into cooperating for most of the session and we were worried he hadn't smiled for many of the pictures. When we got the photos back from Genevieve (after waiting only 3 days) we were astounded by how many he was smiling and laughing in and at the amazing quality of every shot! We ended up with over 100 photos with so many favorites

Genevieve Elaine Photography is amazing. She was great at getting my 6 year old little to open up and have fun, who, to be honest.... wanted to be anywhere else but in the desert taking photos.
