A Peaceful Place
I'm Jane Gallagher and I would be honored to facilitate personal growth with you. I utilize counseling and hypnotherapy (optional) to help you navigate out of the current state and into the direction of reaching your desired outcome. My foundation of working with people began in coaching, NLP, and hypnosis, and I am adding drug and alcohol and gambling addiction services.

I am a facilitator helping you to reach your own answers. I work with a wide variety of issues; to heal, to empower, to dissociate from that which no longer serves you, and to associate with the life you want to live. Counseling means that I am your confidante and I facilitate processes for the development of your goals.
Services
My name is Jane Gallagher, founder of A Peaceful Place. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State University. I am a licensed drug and alcohol counselor and problem gambling counselor. I received Therapeutic Coaching, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and NLP certifications from The Meta Institute.
A typical initial counseling session usually runs about an hour long. We go into depth about what you are interested in working on. We use counseling and therapeutic approaches to organize and sort information and to dissociate from what no longer serves you and associate with what you hope to achieve.
These are some of the questions I answer frequently. If there are any other questions that you have, please feel free to contact me, I am happy to answer them for you. My answer is, for almost anything that you would like to shift in your mind.

The work I do is compatible with things like new and better habits, drug and alcohol counseling, problem gambling counseling, quitting smoking, weight loss, better diet, and exercise, diffusing stress, enhancing excellence in a given area, neutralizing negative charges to situations of past, present or future, public speaking, change in life direction, breaking unwanted habits, enhancing life capabilities, personal growth, creating a future, relaxation, emotional issues, unwanted emotions, finding life direction, manifestation, help with inner conflict, wanting to go in two different directions, fear, resolving broken resolutions, empowering confidence, and much more.

I inquired concerning NLP sessions, I provided background information in an attempt to make the process easiest for the practitioner in hopes of getting the most out of our collaboration and there was a general disregard for what I provided, and received feedback that was offensive, the 2 to 4 day response time to my emails was another red flag, and I asked on two separate occasions about the payment process for the $100 an hour sessions and was never given an answer. Disappointing.

I was skeptical both going in and leaving my appointment with Jane. What we talked about in my appointment seemed to be way too simple of a conversation and exercise to be helpful to me for what I thought was such a complicated issue. I had been agonizing over this issue for months and I was in such emotional pain over it that I didn't really think what we did in my session could possibly help me. BUT, over the few days after my appointment, a weight started to lift and I was able to free my mind of the thought process I was entrenched in. Jane is amazing and I would go back to her in a

I used the services at A Peaceful Place when I was going through a time of major transition in my life. Working with Jane helped me to identify what I wanted to get out of my life and served as a catalyst for me to make the necessary changes. If I hadn't visited A Peaceful Place, I don't know that I would have had the clarity of mind to help push through mental obstacles. I would highly recommend A Peaceful Place to anyone who needs help "getting from Point A to Point B" so-to-speak... Jane is friendly, direct, helpful and respectful.
