They try. But when I had to brush the ants of my toothbrush the second morning after sleeping on a circa 1950 mattress I simply lost faith in the place. For the same price I've stashed in so much nicer places. I understand it's the Hamptons in the summer but this place is simply too much for too little.

The Bayview Resort in Hampton Bays is definitely a hidden gem!!! Right off Montauk highway and is close to many surrounding restaurants and stores!! When booking our 4 day/night reservation spoke with the manager Danny and was concerned about the Covid protocol. He explained and reassured me that the rooms were sanitize with high grade disinfectant and kept my mind at ease. Upon our arrival I went into the office and met Dan who was just a doll! He went over the paper work, handed me the keys and a brochure and map of all the places surrounding the Hamptons!! He also had free beach passes to Ponquogue

Checked in for 2 nights. It was over $700. Got there late and immediately went out in search of dinner without checking things out. Came back after 9 to find out the refrigerator wasn't working ( our food was warm inside) and the tv / cable wasnt working. There was so much ice built up in the freezer that we couldn't even open it. We called the desk and someone was sent down after about an hour. He swapped out the cable box and told us that room 23 always has an issue. Then proceeded to tell us that the fridges are all that way. We insisted they bring a new one which was too big for the space intended
