I literally paid $1,000 extra to be able write this review. They offered to take that amount off and make us sign a legal agreement not to write reviews. That’s probably why there aren’t as many bad reviews about this terrible contractor.

Do not waste you're time using this company. It is one of the most unprofessional companies I've worked with in any service. They are horrible at communicating and don't answer their phones. They try to place blame on the contractors and not take ownership of faults themselves. Never have I ever had a company argue with me over the phone. They provided the contractor they sent out a fourth of the contract that did not accurately reflect the amount of work being done. Totally bad experience with this company. They cannot do estimation on floor leveling. They didn't carefully examination the floor condition but just pour self levers into it. Which will not help on the subfloor with slope. Just puring bags of self levers is easy money they can collect. They just charge by bags but not resolve the real problem.

These guys have done an installation for my daughter in law. They were fantastic. The installation process was a breeze, and the events leading up to it was really good as well. We are very happy that we choose this company. My daughter in law is disabled and although the project was really invasive, the installers were really polite, sensitive and professional. The entire team at Modern Flooring Services was incredibly professional! We appreciate how responsive they were and how smooth the process was with them. We had a very tight timeline after closing on our house to get the new floors installed before we moved. And they finished installation a day early! They were great, making sure that we knew… exactly what to expect, what was possible, and communicated what they needed to correct certain issues that they ran into after demolition. My husband and I was super happy we used Modern Flooring for installation of our backsplash tile for our kitchen. They are very professional and answered all my question. I like it when I asked Dimitri a question and when he did not know the answer he asked someone first to make sure he is giving the right information.
