The Spirit Horse Farm is a small family farm and lodging facility located in the heart of Kent. The farm was established in the late 1800s and has enjoyed a long history of agricultural activities. By 1940, our farm property was an integral part of the fabric of Kent. At that time the property was well known locally for providing fine lodging, and also housed the town's first kindergarten.
Over the years, the property has enjoyed a variety of uses, including, tobacco farming, dairy farming, poultry farming and livestock production and maintenance. The lodging aspect to The Spirit Horse Farm has changed over time as well, and now the property is recognized as one of the best vacation rental destinations in the region.

We had the best weekend here! The house itself is stunning. Architecturally it is amazing and the decor is exactly what you would want in a country house that has everything! The house was impeccably clean and well kept. An added bonus were all the animals the owner keeps about the property. The property is beautiful and I can't wait to come back in the warmer summer months to be able to use the pool and explore a bit more.
