First Call Medical Staffing is a locally owned provider of temporary medical personnel. We are the leading provider of sitter / companion care in the Fort Wayne area. Last year alone we provided over 10,000 hours of companion / sitter care in area hospitals. With the new health care trends of the 90's came pressure from government programs and Managed Care to cut costs in the healthcare industry.
Many people are now turning to privately hired companions / sitters while in the hospital. This new wave promotes the idea of a sitter working one-on-one with a patient in a hospital setting. Whether you need a nurse (RN & LPN), respiratory therapist (RT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), we have the staff you need. We accept assignments from health care facilities through out Northeastern Indiana to do shift work or one-on-one "sitter" cases. Our employees are screened and monitored on a regular basis by our Staffing Director.
