I had a small 10 min. job cutting a steel panel in Coralville but had never used a nibbler nor grinder. I stopped by Walker Welding to get a quote. Linda suggested I just buy a ‘cheap’ grinder at Lowes plus wheels and do it myself since they’d have to charge $150 with trip/minimum charge. I bought a $40 grinder, returned again and Linda gave me tips and showed me what wheels I’d need – she ended up giving me two used ones that worked fine. Highly recommend Walker Welding! Duane

Took my truck into their shop to get bed rails welded on the under side of the bed. After I got it back it had 2 dents on the passenger side of the bed and they claimed they didn’t do it when I have pictures before they worked on it and there were no dents in it at all. They said they wouldn’t pay for it. Do not recommend Walker Welding at all. Terrible customer service as well. Over $1500 in damage to my truck.

Difficult to reach. Phone rings unanswered and no voice message machine. When you will out the contact form on the web page it bombs every time you hit submit. Sure would like them to do some work, but don't know how to get a hold of them. Rating based on this and not their actual skills at welding or fabrication. Sorry...
