Heather's unique position allows her to creatively optimize and intuitively blend your healthcare experience. Her clients include those with lowered immunity, people who have been through cancer, women experiencing menopausal symptoms and bone density issues, as well as athletes and people of all ages who simply want their body to perform more optimally.
She also works closely with practitioners and their clients creating one-of-a-kind formulations that are unique as a fingerprint. Holistic health focuses on healing the whole person, not treating a particular ailment, disorder or symptom. Plant-based foods and medicine give us vitamins and minerals our bodies require to survive.

I believe it is important to share how I got started on the journey to becoming a holistic wellness facilitator. In 1997, I was in my last semester at Florida State University, when I went out for a mountain bike ride while visiting my Mom in Sarasota (just for the record there are no mountains but plenty of off road bike trails).
Heather's total body, mind and spirit wellness approach includes a non-invasive personalized assessment during your initial consultation. Please bring in bottles of all current prescriptions, herbs and any supplements being taken, as well as any relative bloodwork and testing results. Custom formulations of organic and sustainably harvested therapeutic-grade herbs in multiple forms for individual clients and practitioners.
Heather's intention is to assist in building the much needed bridge between conventional medicine and Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) - a bridge fully supported so as the client/patient can walk back and forth uninhibited for the purpose of creating optimal wellness. Heather also supports integrating alternative modalities with conventional medicine.
Heather has studied the clinical use of essential oils at the Master's level. Essential oils are the plant kingdom's most powerful form of medicine, as they are highly concentrated. As with all strong plant medicine, they deserve special consideration and safety protocols. Only pharmaceutical grade, therapeutic quality essential oils are used in the customized specialty blends created for each client.
A note on liquid herbal extracts: Liquid herbal extracts are often referred to as tinctures, where an alcohol and water base is used as the extraction medium in combination with one, or a synergistic blend of, fresh or dried herbs. The body actually absorbs more nutrients from a liquid, as compared to a pill which can be more taxing to the body in general.
