The Orlando Chiropractic Center is dedicated to helping patients reach an optimal level of health and wellness. Using Functional Integrated Therapy, a variety of techniques are utilized to optimize an individual's treatment program. Each patient has a unique set of symptoms and goals which require a treatment program designed specifically for them.
Too often, the source of the injury is not addressed, especially with regard to the musculoskeletal system. Pills are prescribed and short-term treatments are used to help alleviate the pain in specific areas. Unfortunately, the overall physical dysfunction is not considered and the patient often has recurring symptoms and additional injuries.

Chiropractic is a hands-on technique creating mobility in the spine, hips and pelvis. The loss of proper spinal curves, decreased disc space, nerve compression, and hypo-mobility create pain, stiffness, decreased range of motion, and accelerate the aging process. These safe, gentle adjustments can help alleviate pain and stiffness, increase range of motion and remove nerve compression.
9.Get plenty of rest-7-8 hours a night. Studies show that lack of sleep leads to pre-diabetic states and might make you "feel" hungry even though you are not. Confusion exists in finding the most effective heart rate zone to train in. Fat burning v. Cardio is written on many of the cardio machines at the gym and at home.
What is healthy eating? Healthy foods are typically found on the outer rim of your grocery store; whole foods are the most nutritious and receive little processing (adding preservatives). You should limit your diet of processed foods- anything in a box, container, or fast food. Filled with saturated fat, hydrogenated oils, trans fat, sodium, sugar, and bad carbs; these foods cause weight gain, metabolic changes, and provide little nutrient value.
Implementing a company wellness program directly benefits the employee and employer. The increasing amount of time spent at work, typically sitting at a computer, places a higher priority on creating a healthy workplace environment. Healthcare costs are sky rocketing, emphasizing the need for programs that ultimately diminish costs to the employer, and motivates the employees to be proactive regarding their health and well being.
Your visit will last approximately one hour. A detailed history and physical exam will be done. Please bring any relevant test results (MRI, X-ray, physical therapy prescriptions). Comfortable clothes should be worn if possible. We will pay for parking on your first visit and direct you to free parking options thereafter.

I was diagnosed with CRPS of the left knee in February 2020. I had a knee injury October 2018, followed by left knee arthroscopy on 3/22/19. I was unable to quickly rehabilitate my knee like a young adult should (I’m 29 years old). I attended PT for almost 1 year, tried multiple medications, had cortisone injections, and did home exercise. No matter what I did, I just wasn’t getting better. I had horrible atrophy of my left lower extremity muscles and was in constant pain. In late 2020, my symptoms progressed to very classic CRPS symptoms: temperature change, color change (knee was dark purplish

Finding Dr. Orlando and Calmare Therapy truly changed my life. Five years after having a spinal fusion, I started having more back pain again. I tried every “usual” treatment, to no avail. Fortunately, one of my clients told me about Calmare and I found Dr. Orlando. He was extremely patient. He even encouraged me to wait to try it until we made sure there wasn’t a structural issue causing my pain. After 3 months of speaking with him and sending my scans and doctors notes, he suggested that I move forward with Calmare. I am forever grateful that I did. While it wasn’t a “miracle cure”

I was diagnosed with CRPS about 5 or 6 years ago, my knee was is buring pain constantly on medication that barely helped with the pain. I could barely walk to our mail box or go to work without pain meds. After treatment, I was able to enjoy walks and time with my family and friends. Dr. Orlando and the Calmare therapy helped me get my life back and off the medication that was doing more harm than good. It has been a little over a year and a half, which is longer than we expected it to last and I am still able to live my life with very few flares. Dr. Orlando cares about his patients and is a genuine

As a surgeon, having my 8 year old suffer from CRPS/Chronic pain was an experience I do not wish upon any family. Taking care of a child with chronic pain and not being able to take it away immediately is both humbling and painful to observe. We had a great team including pain specialists, pain management therapists and an orthopedic surgeon who were all open to any treatment that may assist in his recovery. We found Dr. Orlando - and his bedside manner in conjunction with his skillful use of the Calmare technology was life changing. My son connected with him and peaceful demeanor and we are 6

I will be forever grateful to Dr Orlando and his staff. My 8 year old son was diagnosed with CRPS and after 6 months of excruciating pain for my son and frustration for our family bc we were told the only solution for my son was for him to learn to manage his pain, we found Dr Orlando and his Calmare machine. His knowledge and caring nature to help and treat my son was beyond impressive. He went above and beyond and truly was a ray of sunshine during a dark time that had limited hope. After 10 sessions, my son has been pain free for over a month!!
I whole heartedly recommend Dr Orlando. He is

It has been about 4 months since my last Calmare appointment with Dr. Orlando, and I cannot believe how much of my life I have gotten back! I was diagnosed with CRPS about 4 years ago and was experiencing high levels of pain in my knee. Now, my husband and I are enjoying more walks together and I can genuinely tell people that “ I’m good" when someone asks me how I’m doing. My mother-in-law encouraged me to research Calmare Therapy because it is non invasive and drug free. In my research I found Dr. Damon Orlando, I called the number on his sight and explained my story and he genuinely wanted

To say that Dr. Orlando is a miracle worker is an understatement. Not only he is one of the nicest guys I have ever known but also he has an incredible talent for what he does.
He has an rare skill to identify what the problem is and to find a solution right away, intuitively to start working on it. He is kind and considerate. He checks to make sure you are ok after each step and shows incredible compassion.
And this is not just my experience.
Everyone I have ever recommended to him has come back raving about him, some in tears about how they saw a change even after the first session!

I was referred to Dr. Orlando by a work colleague who has been seeing Dr. Orlando on a weekly basis for years. Dr. Orlando took me in on an emergency basis (he squeezed me in so I could see him right away) - I was in physical crisis and could barely walk. Within three intensive sessions over a three day period, I was 95% better, and by the next week I was feeling better than I have in years. Dr. Orlando has perfect bedside manner (I agree with one of the other posters that he is very calm and soothing - you really trust this guy) and he has a really intuitive understanding of the body. This office is located in the Century City Medical Plaza on Century Park East between Olympic and Santa Monica Boulevard. There is garage parking at $9 per hour, second hour free. If you are there less than 40 minutes, it's $6. Valet only after 8 am.
The building itself is well maintained, clean and the waiting area for your car has comfortable seating. Orlando Chiropractic is a lovely office with good sized patient rooms, very comfortable adjustment tables and a large exercise/physical therapy room. The waiting area is comfortable and there are restrooms directly across the hall.

Dr. Orlando is a wonderful and caring chiropractor. His office assistant is very polite and friendly. Dr. Orlando listened to my discussing al my symptoms and not only was very gentle in his treatment of my back but also gave me some great tips on physical exercise that would assist me in my recovery. He also answered all questions and clarified the confusion I had from a visit with another chiropractor. He is overall an expert

Dr Orlando has to be one of the best chiropractor/physical therapists I have found in Los Angeles. Really great office with awesome staff. I have gone to see him for back problems and most recently a shoulder injury that is on the road to recovery thanks to him..I get to avoid surgery! If you can find the time I would and have sent many people over there.
