The active ingredient is DHA (dihydroxyacetone) and is approved by the FDA for external use. It is the active ingredient in all self-tanners. Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is derived from sugar beets or cane sugar and is a key active ingredient for natural self-tanners.

This was my first experience with a spray tan and it was so easy and comfortable! Lucy was amazing and created a safe calm environment all while giving me the best tan EVER!! I did the tan before a vacation and looked amazing and so natural. I wasn’t streaky or orange and Lucy gave advice on how to care for it for my specific trip! I highly recommend Lucy and Tanning Luxe!!!!!!

Guys, she totally killed it. Came in with a savage farmers tan and she blended it perfectly. Be very direct on EXACTLY how dark/light you want to be. I told her I had never had a spray tan before I DO NOT want to be dark I just want to level out my farmers tan and she killed it. Very professional, quick and has a really nice location. When you leave.. you will look darker than you’re going to look after you shower. BUT after my second shower it’s flawlessly even and she took me from blinding to a natural looking tan

I have done three or four spray tans by Lucy! She does a fantastic job! They last for great length of time! This time I did the tan and teeth whitening for my engagement photos and engagement season! I could not believe the results! My teeth look significantly whiter and I’m so excited to take our engagement pictures! The whitening process only took 20 mins and I had little to no sensitivity! So exciting! I’ll have to come back in 6 months to do it again!

Best tan ever. Lucy knows the exact tone to make you look tan, glowing, and natural! Such a fun experience! Makes you totally comfortable too! I’ve had spray tans by her a few times but also had her come to my cousins home for her wedding (which is an hour drive for Lucy and she doesn’t mind driving!) so all the bridesmaids got tans! Highly recommend her.

I’ve been sprayed tan by numerous businesses and Lucy by far has exceeded my expectations. Not only does she customize your color to fit you best, she also has perfected contouring with the tan. She makes every client feel 100% comfortable. I love how I don’t look orange or smell like I was just sprayed tanned. My tans with Lucy honestly last between 8-14 days! I highly recommend her!

Absolutely recommend Lucy to anyone looking for a good spray tan! I'm fair skinned and extremely sensitive to most skin products but she uses the best products possible! She's very informative and thorough if you have any questions. No streaks and no orange tone at all! I have had several spray tan experiences, prior to seeing Lucy, that left me too dark, streaky, and overall not what I was looking for. I went in for a trial with Lucy before my wedding and am in love with the results! She gave me something that was noticeable and evened our my skin tone, but also didn’t look like I had been baking in the sun. I had a graduation party to go to on a Saturday and the day before the party I decided last minute to add some color to my legs to match my arms. True to Yelp form, I knew I could get some reliable recommendations. I managed to get an appointment for later the same day. Lucy is extremely kind and professional and brings a relaxed vibe with her - a plus when you're standing there half naked! I explained what I wanted and my results were amazing. I'm on my 2nd spray tan with Lucy & I'll definitely keep coming back for more! She is sweet & professional which makes the whole experience very comfortable. She takes the time to test out different tanning solutions so no matter your skin color she's got the perfect mix. I'm pale & her tanning solution left my skin BRONZE... not orange! I came here because I saw my friend (who is as white as snow like me) and she looked amazing with her tan so she referred me to Lucy. I've never done anything like this before and although practically naked, Lucy made me feel really comfortable and she was super laid back and professional. ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of five is it was a bit pricey for me as a college student and not something I could keep up with on a regular basis compared to a self tanner for instance. But 5 stars 100% if you're looking for a flawless tan before a big event or trip. Can't wait to come back
