Now it is host to a rustic yet elegant experience in the Colorado Mountains for your wedding celebration. Picture your ceremony against the backdrop of the Mountains on one side and the Arkansas River on the other!
We can even arrange to have you float in or out of your ceremony via if the river! Photos at Howard Creek Farm are beautiful and unique. From our phenomenal backdrop of the Twin Sisters Mountain Range, to our old farm truck, Thunderbolt, to the Arkansas river and boat on our pond, the possibilities are endless!

Aly and Orlin met back in 2004 and were both living in Denver. Fast forward quite a few years, a wedding of our own and 2 kids later and here we are! We moved to Howard in 2015 from Denver. Since buying our 11 acres here, it has always been a vision to host weddings/events on our land. Now we are making that a reality!

We moved and rebuilt it in Howard, Colorado (just 15 minutes outside of Salida, CO) in 2019 to become a rustic yet elegant backdrop to wedding celebrations. Our wedding barn is ideal for couples looking to frame their memorable event with the simple beauty of the outdoors and the vintage charm of an old barn.

Aly and Orlin are amazing and they have done such a wonderful job to make this venue perfect. Some unexpected weather did not alter our day thanks to Aly/Orlin and this adaptable venue. The barn is beautiful and was able to host an unexpected indoor wedding seamlessly. If you want a beautiful wedding venue in Colorado, the Barn at Howard Creek is amazing.

This venue is a dream come true and so are Aly & Orlin! The views and landscape are gorgeous for everyone to enjoy and extra special for photos and film. I used Aly as my coordinator as well and couldn't have been happier I did. Aly is kind, super responsive, knowledgable, organized, detail-oriented, patient, and flexible. She and Orlin made us feel at ease and excited from day one when we toured the venue with masks on in the start of COVID-19, which continued as we did our walk through with my mom, and finally on our wedding day. This place and these people are incredible, and you definitely

Wow there are no words to describe how amazing this venue is and how amazing Aly and Orlin are. They have thought of everything - we never doubted our decision to host our wedding here. They were so flexible with us when COVID struck and went above and beyond to finally make our special day happen just the way we wanted. We still cannot get over how many guests raved about the special location that showcased our love for the mountains. Our wedding was everything and more thanks to this dreamy spot!

Absolutely GORGEOUS wedding venue, and the owners are incredibly kind, flexible, and professional! The ceremony site is placed perfectly in front of a jaw-dropping view of the mountains, the barn is ridiculously beautiful and great for mountain modern weddings, and the bridal suite and groomsmen hideaway are so unique and comfortable. Highly recommend this venue to any couple getting married!
