I took my road bike in for a tune up after not taking very good care of it for a couple of years. I interacted with two or three different mechanics during the process, and they were all knowledgeable & helpful. They did a great job on the bike & answered my questions. I appreciated that they weren't condescending, which is something I've often experienced at other shops. Great job Boardtown Bikes! I definitely recommend checking them out for your bike tune ups and questions.

Was in town for a day for business, and wanted to get out on the roads on a bike. The guys at Boardtown hooked me up with a fantastic rental at a great price. They may not have much competition in the area, but they are certainly not resting on their laurels! Hats off, and if I am back this way, will stop by to see these guys.

Brought my old and neglected bike in and got great help from Alex making it ride like new again, better than when I bought it! Had to order parts but they got me a great price and explained every detailed, taught me a lot! Super helpful staff, and willing to answer questions and provide suggestions when asked, or just let you alone while you browse. I'll definitely be back next time I need help!

I'm new to the whole Mt. Biking experience and the guys here are great. They stuck with me and helped me find the perfect bike for me. They also have a nice little selection to choose from. They also explain in detail how to take care of your bike and pretty much anything you need to know as a beginner.

Really cool shop to visit. Their product selection is a little sparse if you aren't a Specialized fan, but overall pretty solid. Shop prices are not terribly expensive (merchandise prices are pretty high, though), and I'm sure if you look like you can drop $2,500 on a bike, you'll get good service.
Note to the owners/employees: You are located in a college town. Treat everyone like a serious buyer and you might be surprised.

I just bought a Specialized bike from Boardtown bikes and the service was great. They spent all the time in the world with me allowing me to test ride the bikes. They also do a free bike tune up after you buy the bike once it settles in and you need a few things tweaked. The bike is really a great product as well. They are also very military friendly, thanks!
