Was with a large group (over 20) for lunch.
Service was very good. We had one waitress, who had a little help. She did a yeoman's job. Very patient and helpful.

The food was excellent. I had the gumbo as an appetizer (some of the best gumbo I've ever had, and I lived in Louisiana!) and the Reuben sandwich, which was also very good. My wife had the salmon, which she enjoyed very much.

Restaurant was very nice. It gave us a good place to dine and visit.

I hope we have an opportunity to return.

The setting is beautiful. Mediocre service at best. The meat for 2 dishes were both cold. However, the vegetables were excellent. I'll give it another try but not wowed at all.

Thanksgiving a week early -- in traveling from Dallas to Hilton Head a week before the actual Thanksgiving day, we decided to bed down in a nearby city. Thankfully, we found this incredible restaurant. Every aspect of the experience was outstanding. Food -- fantastic. Wines -- excellent. Mixed drink -- perfectly made. Appetizer -- delicious. Food -- bigest pork chop ever and made to a tee, salmon dish was mouth watering. Dessert was fabulous. Decorations -- what a festive environment. Lastly, service a young lady named Dani was top notch. We cannot wait to return to this spot sometime

My only memory of Classic on Noble is one where I was but a child.

I was around eight or nine years old, and my parents were dangerously close to becoming divorced. So we went to Classic on Noble, of course, to mend this. The chocolate fountain almost did it, but no such luck. Mom and Dad still ended up splitting up three harrowing years later.

In the back of my mind, I can still hear that underpaid pianist playing that classic little tune in the undertones of the whirring of the fondue machine, forever calming me and keeping me at peace with the world and it's constant offenses.

From the moment we walked in we were blown away by the breathtaking atmosphere of this restaurant. The music was great, the tables and chairs were classy and comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. The pork chop I got was the best I have ever tasted but it had nothing on the scallops that my wife ordered. It came in a creamy creole sauce with fried tortellini and asparagus and it was incredible. We came for our 8 year anniversary and I couldn't imagine a more romantic and enjoyable setting. You absolutely will not be disappointed if you decide to dine here.

Always fabulous. So many classic dishes. Fried oysters may not be on the menu, so ask for them. I have never been disappointed

Traveled from CT to AL for Mother's Day. First time I've seen my mother in 18 months, thanks to Covid. Anyway, took her to Classic on Noble for Mother's Day "brunch"at 11 am. It was packed. No social distancing. People were seated at tables right next to other people. I'm not kidding. It was insane. Maybe a spreader event. Who knows?

Back to "brunch." It was not really a brunch. It was lunch plus some omelets made to order and a few unidentifiable items near the omelette station. Nothing was labeled. Who could possibly know what the "brunch"

Fried green tomato salad was great. The cobia special, not so much. Were there for Valentine's day. Not wowed like we'd hoped.

We were traveling from Birmingham to Marietta and searched for a place to stop for lunch on the trip where we would find some local charm and great food. The pros; very nice people here from the owners to all the servers, beautiful ambience with classic touches like lovely glassware, linen tablecloths and ice tea spoons for goodness sake! Decorated for Christmas it looks lovely.

Lunch prices are pretty steep but ok if top shelf food. The shrimp and grits were good but so rich that I couldn't even eat half a portion. The "crispy" chicken entree wasn't crispy at all and needs

Classic on Noble is one of the best restaurants I've dined in and it never disappoints. I had a fried green tomato salad to start and Salmon for the main course. Both were prepared perfectly. I highly suggest this restaurant if you are in the Anniston area. The staff was incredibly friendly and service was great. Treat yourself to a restaurant that has a unique take on many menu items - all of which are outstanding from my experience.

I didn't know what to expect when I walked into Classic On Noble. It was an older building in a small town in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Upon walking in we were welcomed by kind and helpful servers and a warm bread basket. We spoke to the property owner at length about the history of the building, which was so fascinating! Me and my girlfriend split a sea bass and Parmesan Crusted Salmon. The prices were reasonable for what we got and there wasn't a thing on those plates that wasn't mesmerizing. There was this sweet potato casserole that came with the salmon that

The hospitality is unlike any place I've ever experienced! The server was attentive, knowledgeable, and so kind. The owner stopped by the table and told us the history of the building. My boyfriend, who is a history teacher, was absolutely in love with the history lesson and the food.
He ordered salmon and I ordered sea bass and it was probably the best we have ever had, and we are from Florida! If we ever come back to this area, this is the first place we will go to.

Every Friday night is our "date night" at Classic and we've never been disappointed. Since moving to Anniston 2 years ago, we've become better acquainted with the owners, David and Cathy Mashburn, staffers Stephen, Kaitlyn, Ben, bartender Kyle, and the rest of their wonderful folks. My husband loves Kyle's Old Fashioned in a smoked glass. My favorite is the dirty Tangueray gin Martini in true 1960's style.

Classic is committed to making certain your dining experience is first-rate and you are delighted with your food and service. The Osso Bucco with root vegetables

The best customer service and hospitality I've ever experienced! My grandmother, mother and I arrived to Anniston, AL around 2pm on a Saturday to shop and enjoy our time when we searched and came upon Classic on Noble. We were saddened that it opened at 5:00pm on Saturday, but it was definitely worth the wait. When we arrived, we were greeted by David (the owner) and he gave us such a warm welcome and asked if we were from the area and what bought us to the area. Very seldomly now a days do you receive such hospitality and delicious food which was a plus.

But let's get to the DRINKS

A MUST VISIT!!! This place is an absolute gem!!!! I flew in for the week from California for training. I am an absolute foodie and every single item my colleagues and I ordered were impeccable. Who would have known!! The ambiance, food, and service is off the charts!!

Our shared dining experience consisted of:

Appetizers: fried oysters, shrimp cocktail, fried green tomato salad and corn chowder.

Entrees: ahi tuna, shrimp and grits, mushroom risotto with sea bass, and crab cakes.

Dessert: fried cheesecake and bread pudding. Of all things, DO NOT skip dessert!!

Great shrimp & grits! Very filling with cream sauce so don't recommend an appetizer or eating too much bread. Restaurant was pretty empty on a Thursday night. Had a good Italian pinto Grigio for $6/glass.

Summary: Excellent food, adequate service

The Deets:
I went here for a large meal with coworkers. I highly recommend getting the fried green tomato salad. It's enough for a meal and is absolutely delicious! The naked Pig is a decent beer too.

Other than that, I loved the atmosphere. It is an interesting space with lots of history, though somewhat dated. The service was a bit spotty and just odd at times, but this was probably just due to our large party.
