I love this place! Baker does an amazing job with stencils as well as the overall artistry. The tattoos are always on point with the stencils. I go here because I know they will gladly do what looks and what they think looks good. ( which it always does ) I’d recommend this place to anyone who is getting a tattoo as well as people who enjoy humor.

I’ve gotten tons of tats from Baker and he does an amazing job! He’s super nice, listens well, can turn your ideas into the perfect tattoo for you! He does the most amazing thin line tattoos. He’s so creative and has made my tattoos 20x better than I could’ve imagined! He’s always made me feel comfortable and he does walk ins, which is super nice if you don’t want to wait for an appointment. Overall best shop in Montana and I would highly recommend Baker!

So I got wind from a few friends about this hunk with a beautiful beard that does tattoos here and let me tell you I wasn’t disappointed. His name is Dale Hobbs and his work is outstanding not to heavy handed and checks one ya to make sure you are good or need a break. The bonus (for some) is every once in a while you get a nice little tickle from his beard. Really makes you feel special. Definitely going to make the trip back again to the shop and him.

I scheduled an appointment with Brendan. He was very punctual. He did multiple of my tattoos and did an amazing job!
I felt very comfortable with him and he listened to exactly what I wanted. He was both friendly and professional. Brendan over exceed my expectations.
The shop was clean and overall a great atmosphere. All of the artists had amazing positive energy and made my experience enjoyable.
I definitely would recommend Brendan.

East Main Ink has always been top notch! I started a leg sleeve with a different artist but he was unable to finish it. After deciding to have it finished I was fortunate enough to meet Baker at East Main. Upon scheduling my first tattoo with him he had no issues with taking over and completing my leg sleeve. Now a little over two years later we’ve finally completed my sleeve hip to ankle and I couldn’t be more stoked about it! I got quite a few tattoos from here, specifically Dana and Baker, and loved them. However, I probably won’t be coming back because their new artist Brendan made me uncomfortable and didn’t have any professionalism. I felt like he barely listened to me on my design (I was a walk in) and I didn’t get to see the placement and do any adjustments before he just started tattooing. He made some comments that made me genuinely uncomfortable and didn’t give me a good vibe.
It’s unfortunate because I love the other artists there and their work but I’m not comfortable in there anymore.

He has done three tattoos on me in the past two weeks and I have scheduled appointments in the future with this artist. Every time I've been in the shop he has done a phenomenal job on my tattoos while continuing to make sure I'm happy with the placement and stencil before getting his machines out. Not only are his tattoos clean, and RAD but he holds a good conversation and always maintains professionalism.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this artist for anyone who wants a banging tattoo.

Literally my favorite place ever! There's a reason they are named best tattoo shop in bozeman! All the artists there are great and super friendly. I've only gotten tattooed by Baker and he's the best! They do walk ins which is super nice and convenient. I would get a tattoo there every week if I could.

Had an amazing experience here with Dale! He was super nice and easy to work with. Joked around which made me feel more comfortable there. Went in with 3 other people to get similar tattoos and he was awesome working with all of us to personalize each one and make it what we wanted! The process was fast and easy and everything was very well sanitized from what I saw! Needed up going back a few days later to add a little something and he came in early to fit us in and all we had to do was tip! Awesome to work with and did an amazing job!

Justin is the man. He's a great artist that gives great input all the while listens to suggestions and makes the tattoo look great. He cares about the quality from start to finish. East Main Ink is a comfortable environment (as much as it can be being a tattoo shop). Extremely friendly and they care to put a smile on your face... and maybe a tattoo too.

My two sisters and I wanted matching memorial tattoos, but only had a vague idea of what. The staff was very informative about what each idea would entail (time, cost) and they were helpful without pushing any one idea. It was the first time any of us old ladies had even been into a tattoo shop, and were put at ease by the kindness and professionalism of Justin. We are also very pleased with the results. In fact, having the work done by considerate and thoughtful people makes the tattoo even more sentimental. East Main Ink is now a part of the story. Thanks so much.

Stopped by this shop while visiting Bozeman from Denver and couldn't be happier! Thanks to Julian for managing to squeeze me in as a walk in and doing an amazing job! The owner Justin reached out to me a week after this review, sincerely apologized for my bad experience at his shop (he was out sick when everything happend) & gave me a refund. He also talked to his artists about the right way my issue should have been handled. I am grateful that he cares so much about his customers and his business
